Believe in yourself and don’t give up.
Here’s the best advice I’ve ever received:
The only difference between a person who makes it and a person who doesn’t is that the person who made it never gave up.

Introduction
With every industry comes a set of terms that are specific to that field and the music business is no different. If you’re hoping to be taken seriously as a musician, you’ll need at least a basic understanding of the professional terminology.
A musicians vocabulary tends to be riddled with lingo that can be confusing for anyone who is new to the industry. This glossary will familiarize you with some of the most common terms. Some of them are technical, some are related to production and business and some of them are just downright slang. Our goal is to create the last songwriter’s dictionary you will ever need.
