About this ebook
Simone reported the matter to the police and the policeman, Constable Molege examined the report. He and his superiors insisted that there was no presence of semen and therefore no evidence of Old man Harvey's involvement.
Simone's biker friends, Tiny and Larry insisted she tell them what was bothering her. She explained the situation and they promised to take care of it in their own way. One day, Anthony Harvey was sitting on his porch. He sent his granddaughter to play inside while he took a short nap. An unmarked Ford Van. Screeched to a halt before the house and two fat beings wobbled out with balaclavas. They had spear guns and shot him beneath the knees.
This story takes us back to when she was only three years old and being molested.

Retribution - Bernard Harold Curgenven
Prologue 1
So demons do exist! There is a God and then there are gods. There are gods who go by the title ‘Demons’ and they are powerful beyond imagination and they all belong to an army in the fallen angel’s regiment, who in turn rules the world with an iron fist. Do demons rule time and tide, or are they simply subject to it, mere pawns to their master! They bring about destruction and chaos throughout the world and beyond.
We seem to look at science for the answers, hiding behind masks of exaggeration, and a favourite being the determination to escape to the rest of the universe. Although science and space is very much a reality, it forms a big part of our fantasy.
There is more to science than astronomy and astrology though, and thus we are known to seek comfort in even more sectors of this vast field. In fact, we are subconsciously subjected to more recent sciences on a daily basis, and it is almost as if these sciences are demons in themselves, and they are carefully monitoring us on a daily basis, waiting to destroy humanity as a whole. I refer to these particular sciences as the demons of psychology, manifested into various sub sectors, like parasomnia, insomnia, multiple personality disorder, telekinesis and so much more. These mentioned titles are all fairly new discoveries, unknown to early humanity, or is it? Some still ignore the power of psychology and the evil that manifests within it, and many people brush psychology off as myth or pure exaggeration. There are those of us who encourage the power of the mind, and then there are those of us who look towards a higher spirit to save us from this power, believing that this power is directly linked to evil!
I think you have derived at my opinion on science. It is nevertheless a broad spectrum and hardly dismissive. We must not take it for granted though, and respect the consequences of wrongful discoveries, or becoming involved to a point where our entire lives are dedicated to it. We must also be very careful in putting our discoveries into practice. Nobody wants to discover a means to implode the Earth tomorrow and then actually test it on the home planet.
Prologue 2
Crime is a very interesting subject and there is an entire study dedicated to it through university and colleges. Crime has been around since the beginning of humanity and it generally refers to the breaking of the rules by humans. What rules, we may ask? Well, there are basically three types of rules and regulations. There are the laws of physics for example. Then there are the laws that we were given to live by, handed down in the form of religion from an almighty power. Then there are rules and regulations created by human beings for human beings. Regulations created by human beings are normally related to safety issues and most of them are compulsory. We have hordes of industrial regulations to control safety issues formerly experienced in the various work places. There are general laws issued by authorities, each region, state, country and organization to its own.
Breaking a rule or regulation always carries a consequence or a string of consequences, and it is the responsibility of the guilty party to face these consequences, and this is the purpose of justice, to see that the right party is punished for the subsequent crime. Unfortunately there are far too many loopholes in the laws of man, thus the guilty parties go unpunished too often, or worse, the innocent parties get punished for crimes they did not commit. Hence, an injustice!
We won’t be covering the law in too much detail, of waver over injustice versus justice, but we must always consider the consequences of an injustice. What is the point of an ‘eye for an eye’ which dates back before biblical times? Does it not lead to a string of injustice?
Imagine being a victim of crime and seeking revenge. Due to a discrepancy, the law is unable to bring you justice, so you go about with a vengeance. You then obtain your pound of flesh and a descendant or a direct dependant of your victim seeks vengeance against you or your offspring. Your family or clan this feels unjustified and seeks vengeance. Vengeance thus continues into eternity, much to the suffering of all involved, so who or what actually gains anything by it. What if the very demons who control us psychologically, actually manifest in this thirst for crime? Are you familiar with the term ‘face your demons’? Does this term refer to taking vengeance, or is it meant to get you past this hurdle? You may wish to refer to previous episodes in this series, before reading further, although a series of epilogues have been included in this book to give you more clarity on the complete DEMONS series
Chapter 1
Simone Harvey was sweating. She looked long and hard at the thermometer on the far corner of her desk. It seemed to be moving closer and retreating continually, making the digits exceptionally difficult to read. At first the reading appeared to be 59 degrees Celsius, but after some intense straining of her vision, she concluded that it actually read 23 degrees. The temperature wasn’t above average
