About this ebook

The story you are about to read is about two sister nations. Though they existed many centuries apart, their histories compose a significant parallel. The older of these two nations was Ancient Israel and the younger is our own nation. As you read this story, you will see this parallel develop as well as the path that our nation needs to follow to avoid the same dreadful end that Ancient Israel experienced. It is unreasonable to think that they who caused the problems are the ones who have the answers to these problems. This story gives you this answer.

    So great is the

need for God’s word to be proclaimed with power and authority all over the globe, that no one is sufficient to the task.

Sin and corruption are rampant in every nation upon the face of the earth without exception. The heart of man has turned so far away from his Creator until surely it gives reason to believe that the end of time cannot be far away. Man has little if any regard for his fellow man any more. This is symptomatic of the fact that he has no regard for God, his Creator, his Lord, and his Savior. Exception can be made for our nation because, being so greatly blessed of the Lord, we are always quick to provide aid to other nations when they are faced with national disasters, such as earthquakes, famines, etc.

The problems the world faces today cannot be resolved by the political rhetoric of different parties, even by political dialogue among the nations of the world. These problems can only be solved if we understand the Word of God and take heed to its teachings. God’s Word is universal in that it speaks to all mankind in every nation throughout all ages.

Since the scope of this writing will cover a span of approximately thirty-eight hundred years, I will be including only those events that are most pertinent to its central theme. Also because of the considerable variations in the historical timelines presently available, I intend that all events that are mentioned occurred at approximate dates.

Though I have studied the scriptures for over fifty years, I acknowledge that I have much yet to learn. I will be using a lot of scripture throughout this writing, all of which will be taken from the King James Version Bible. Much of this will be complete text and verbatim. To undertake this most difficult task I need the help of God and humbly beseech him to breathe upon me with that same holy breath that he breathed upon the apostles as he opened their understanding of the scriptures before he ascended back to his Father. I beseech him also to give me the pen of a ready writer (Psalms 45:1).

    Personal Acknowledgments

I acknowledge with much gratitude to my typist, Jeanne Teaff, for her kindness, patience, understanding, and diligence in helping to bring this book to publication. Much of her work was done with frequent interruptions by me and her adorable lap dog, Molly, who with her charming personality captured my heart almost immediately.

Further acknowledgments with tremendous appreciation is given to my editor and friend, Misty Powell, without whose gift and experience I would not have been able to submit this work to the publisher. Her lifelong belief in God and understanding of the Scripture together with her expertise in literary composition was priceless. She was the answer to my prayer at the beginning, asking the blessing of the Lord in my effort to bring this work to his own glory and to the blessings of our beloved nation.

    Introduction

    The story you are

about to read is about two sister nations. Though they existed many centuries apart, their histories compose a significant and undeniable parallel. The older of these two nations was Ancient Israel which had her beginning about 1800 B. C. The younger of the two was/is the United States of America, whose existence began in 1620 A. D. The bible tells us that Ancient Israel was baptized in the waters of the Red Sea as they were being delivered from slavery in Egypt. America experienced baptism in the stormy waters of the North Atlantic Ocean enroute to the New World as they fled the tyranny of English Monarchs. Both of these sister nations were highly favored by their Heavenly Father, and stood out among all other nations in their generations.

This story is about their blessings as well as their indifference to the teachings of their loving Father as they grew and matured to be powerful nations among the nations of the world. The real beauty of a lady means much more than her physical characteristics. These type characteristics are very important in determining her overall beauty, but they can be deceptive if they are not accompanied by a much deeper kind of beauty such as love, kindness, compassion, meekness, charity, and faithfulness to her husband. After many generations, the older sister, Ancient Israel, failed to maintain her beauty in every respect, even to the point of becoming a harlot. Though she was warned numerous times by her Loving Husband she refused to repent and turn back to Him. In the end she was finally put away by her Husband. Both of these sisters ultimately rejected their loving and merciful Heavenly Father which led to the utter destruction of Ancient Israel in 586 B.C. and currently has America under His severe judgment. As you read this story, you will come to see the distinct parallel that exists between these two sister nations.

The beauty of America was first seen in the deep love, and strong commitment and devotion she had for her loving Husband in 1620 A.D. as she crossed the North Atlantic Ocean enroute to the New World. It can also be seen in the Bill of Rights that she guarantees her citizens and the equal justice her Constitution guarantees, as well as in her compassionate heart as she reaches out to those who flee from tyrannical rulers around the world. Relative to her physical beauty, I recommend reading the poem written by Katherine Lee Bates as she stood on top of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado, looking out over the vast terrain where the abundance of her Fathers’ blessings abound. This poem was titled, America, The Beautiful and became a beautiful song which has been a favorite of the American people ever since

She has been blessed by her Father more than any other nation in the history of the world. It seems as though her Father has been blessing the entire world through her as she reaches out to them and shares His blessings with them. At the same time, many of her own offspring have become delusional and have walked away from her exemplary way of life. They have indeed become enemies to her and are trying to destroy the path that her Father led her in for many generations. This has resulted in a deep division within her family much the same as happened to her older sister. Fortunately, many of her noble sons and daughters are rising up in her behalf with the strong determination to put an end to the offending few. She desperately needs the counsel and guidance of her anointed servants of God to lead her back to her loving Heavenly Father.

Additionally, she has become the envy of cruel Monarchs all over the world, who because of their jealously of her, have developed such hatred for her that they are trying desperately to destroy her and cast her down from her Lofty Throne. These facts alone are strong evidence that she deserves the title, THE WORLD"S MOST BEAUTIFUL LADY.

    Part One

    Out of Bondage

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance" (Psalms 33:12).

    The nation of Israel

actually had its origin in the promise God made to Abram when he was about seventy-five years old. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing; and I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:2-3). This promise was also confirmed in his promised son Isaac and later confirmed in his grandson Jacob whose name was later changed to Israel. After many years, when Israel was an old man, the Lord appeared to him and said, "I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will surely bring thee up again" (Genesis 46:3-4).

When Israel and his household of seventy people went into Egypt, Israel’s long-lost son, Joseph, had been blessed by the Lord to become the greatest and most powerful man in Egypt next to Pharoah. Only Pharoah was greater than he was. Because of Joseph’s favorable position with Pharoah, he was able to give his father’s household a place in the most fertile part of the land.

In this land (the land of Goshen), Israel’s household was blessed of the Lord and quickly grew in numbers and wealth. Eventually, Joseph and all his brethren died, and a new Pharaoh came into power. This pharaoh was not favorable to Israel’s household any longer. He and the other pharaohs, who in the course of time would come to power, sensed that these Hebrew people would become a threat to their nation. The Lord was blessing Israel to multiply rapidly and the political and social dynamics were changing accordingly. It then became a matter of national policy that these people had to be brought under more suppressive rule. This resulted in the Israelites being made servants and slaves to the Egyptians. Their forced labor would become a tremendous economic benefit to the Egyptian government. As time went on, the Egyptians made their burden heavier and heavier until they began to cry out unto the Lord.

Pharaoh became very troubled about the vast numbers of the children of Israel and gave orders to the Egyptian midwives that when a male child was born, it would be thrown into the river, but when a female child was born, it would be kept alive. Pharaoh had no understanding of what God was doing right in the midst of Egypt. If he knew that the Hebrew people were crying out to their God, he didn’t care. He had a number of his own gods and knew nothing about the God of the Hebrews. He would soon learn about their God in a way he could never have imagined.

In spite of Pharaoh’s decree to kill the Hebrew male children, he could not make his plan work because God had purposed to deliver his chosen people out of the bondage of Egypt before they ever went into Egypt. The more Pharaoh oppressed the people, the more they cried out unto their God.

There was a young man and his wife who were both of the tribe of Levi. This man’s wife gave birth to a male child, and when she could no longer hide her baby, she gave it to his sister to take and hide it among the bulrushes in the river.

It was not by accident that Pharaoh’s daughter saw the young child in the ark of the bulrushes and had such compassion on the child that she claimed it for herself. She obviously did not know that she was doing exactly what God had planned. She named the Hebrew child Moses because she drew him out of the water. She raised Moses in the palace of Pharaoh until he was grown.

The Lord heard the cries of his people and raised up Moses to deliver them. The Lord sent Moses directly to Pharaoh to tell him that the Lord said, Let my people go (Exodus 5:1). Pharaoh wasn’t about to do that. He replied to Moses and said, "Who is the Lord that I should obey his voice? (Exodus 5:2). The Lord commanded Moses to go to Pharaoh again with the same message, Let my people go" (Exodus 8:1). Pharaoh’s answer was always the same, No! Altogether the Lord sent Moses to Pharaoh ten times and the answer was the same, No! Each time Pharaoh refused to let the people go the Lord sent a plague upon the land. Moses had become confused and angry about this and complained to the Lord. Pharaoh had also become angry with Moses and advised him that if he came before him again with this matter he would put him to death.

Finally, the Lord sent the last plague. It was now time to finish the job. He sent the death angel throughout Egypt that would slay the firstborn of all of Egypt including Pharaoh’s family and all the cattle of Egypt. When this happened, Pharaoh and all the people were reconciled for the Hebrews to leave with all their substances. The people were so relieved when they learned that the Hebrews’ were leaving that they gave them jewels of gold and silver and clothes to wear. The people left Egypt on the 430th anniversary of their going into Egypt. They went into Egypt with seventy people, and they went out of Egypt as a unified people who now numbered six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides women and children. Also there were many non-Jews among them that went out. The city of Rameses was their departure point as they traveled on to Succoth and finally made their camp at Pi-ha-hi-roth by the sea. It was there where they found the hostile Egyptian army behind them and the Red Sea before them. They were in a most difficult situation and complained strongly before Moses. Moses told them, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13). At this time Moses lifted up his rod and stretched out his hand upon the water, and the waters of the sea parted and the people went over on dry ground. When the Egyptian army saw the people going over on dry ground, they decided to pursue them, but when the army got in the midst of the sea, the waters returned to their natural state and all the army drowned in the sea.

Shortly after the crossing over the people became thirsty because they didn’t have water to drink nor food to eat. Again they turned to Moses because of their destitute condition. And again the Lord delivered them by causing the water to come forth in abundance from the Rock. He also caused manna to rain down from heaven.

From the time when Moses first stood before Pharaoh and told him to let the people go that they may worship their God, the people were beginning to get uneasy. They had no idea what was happening in their lives. They were experiencing things they didn’t understand and some began to be doubtful about Moses and what he was telling them. They murmured that Moses had brought them out here into this wilderness to perish. The Lord told Moses to tell them:

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself above all the people that are upon the face of the earth. The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people. But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn to your fathers hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 7:6-8)

This must have been a great comfort to the people and helped them to make some sense out of all these strange things that have been happening to them.

When Moses was yet with his father-in-law in Midian, "The angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush … the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, ‘Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I’ (Exodus 3:2-4). When Moses said Here am I," he was saying here am I, just as I am, unworthy, and unable, but willing to
