    Introduction

It is my attempt in this writing to explain my views on the reasons for the creation of the Muslim Religion and its effects on today’s world.  Christians should understand that the Muslim religion is a direct threat against Christianity.  This is a fact stated in the Qur’an.  Even though it is not directly practiced by all Muslims, as you will read this study, hopefully, you will understand that the purpose of the Muslim faith is to convert the entire world and banish any thought of Christianity.  Those that will not be converted will be destroyed.  Christians must no longer ignore the influence that Islam has on our culture here in the United States as well as the culture in the rest of the world.  Some Muslims are more militant than others but don’t forget the fact that the Muslim faith has no place for Christianity in this world.  Today in the United States, we can see a large concentration of those of the Muslim faith in our society.  There are Muslim leaders in several communities, as well as those of the Islamic Faith as members of Congress.

(George, 2002, p. Back Cover).

While reading, one should pray that God will reveal what He intends for you to learn from this book.  As stated in the Genevan Catechism, man’s purpose is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.  In the chapters that follow, the reader will find a brief history of the conflicts in the Middle East, a summarized history of the Middle East in the Old Testament, the creation of the
