How To Use Your Phone To Save Your Eyes

About this ebook
There are millions of people in the world who have been diagnosed with macular disease.
As yet, there is no cure. You may know someone who has this disease.
And maybe wondering what you can do to help.
This is your chance to be a part of a new line of information. Contribute by taking videos of your eyes.
And help other people.
You could actually, also be one of the millions more, who have this disease, but do not, as yet even know it.
So, it may be worth your while, to learn how to use your phone to find out, and also be a source of this new line of information by simply taking videos of your own eyes.
This book, will walk you through the process.
In the process of putting together more evidence to support my views, and write yet another book on macular disease, I recently peeked into eight different sets of eyes.
Seven of those were children's eyes.
In the children's eyes, I found what I opine to be evidence of what causes macular disease, albeit in very early stages.
These children are aged eight through to fourteen years old.
These children still see very well. For now.
And they are not in any way related to me.
A situation which accounts for why, most people only get diagnosed for this disease too late.
It is the subtleness and normalcy of what will be happening daily that disarms.
And we think we are making visual mistakes, and think nothing of it, till it is too late.
Those seemingly ‘normal and ordinary small visual mistakes’ are actually the yet undocumented early symptoms of macular disease.
Like having trouble to see small photographs clearly well before you have trouble reading.
The inability to see small photographs clearly, especially those with human facial features, is an early indication.
Or, seeing bulging overhead electrical or telephone cables. All cables should always look straight.
You may see straight cables when you use both eyes. Because we never stop or think of testing each eye separately.
Please test your eyes separately to see how they fare in clarity when looking at human facial features in small photographs, and straight overhead cables.
If you do not see human facial features clearly with any eye, or there is any indentation on the overhead cables when you look with either eye, whether over or under, you have cause to see your eye doctor.
If it is not too stressful an undertaking, I also urge those already diagnosed with macular disease to take these videos.
And then, slow down the videos using a video editor, to enable you to take screenshot photographs.
The actual photographs of what doctors will see inside your eyes may be the final bridge to help them understand stages of this disease.
And enable them to photographically map out disease progression.
And match this to periodic scans to give doctors a clearer understanding of what they are up against.
Hopefully, this will help doctors to see disease progression or mitigation changes they may otherwise be missing out on by relying on scans only.
Those who take the videos and see what is inside their eyes, please share your screenshots with doctors and researchers.
What you find in your eyes may be the information they need to bridge the information divide about all manner of eye diseases, especially macular disease.
The more sources the information comes from, the easier it will be for doctors and researchers to get comparative detailed information to enable them to profile this disease correctly and find a cure faster.

Chapter One
You need to see, and understand what is happening inside your own eyes if you really want to use your phone to save your eyes, and maybe also everyone else's.
Because medical science, is never one opinion backed by evidence, no matter how correct or wrong.
Therefore, looking at, and understanding what is happening inside your very own eyes, could help save your eyes and those of others.
Irrefutable proof from a lot of sources, preferably, credible and medically schooled sources, is the basis of modern day medicine.
That is, from researchers and, doctors, but once in every while, even from ordinary people like you, and me.
While medically educated sources are better, and professionally accredited opinions best, you and I, can still play our part.
To this end, I have produced quite a number of books on a disease I strongly believe to be affecting a lot of people.
I am actually presenting medical sense in all those books I have written on macular disease.
