You may know secrets of magic tricks, but more importantly, do you know the secrets to a wealthy magician lifestyle?
Let's be honest, besides a handful of famous magicians...
How many wealthy magicians do you really know?
How about magicians that can retire comfortably tomorrow?
Magicians that can withstand years of COVID-19 and not be affected financially?
Magicians that will need family, friends and social assistance when they retire?
The sad reality is, most magicians focus on the tricks, rather than planning for their future and building their wealth; that's the REAL SECRET!
This is book is not written by a financial guru trying to sell you products! However, it is a book written by a magician, for magicians who has a verified, successful, iconic magic career and shares solid, hard-core information based on real-life experience!
Not everyone will have the talent, or luck to get that big break, yet there is money to be made in the magic profession. The problem is that most magicians cannot manage their money properly and hence never end up being able to retire comfortably. The big question is... do you still want to be desperately competing for shows and standing on stage when you are 65? Or do you want to sit back, relax and enjoy many Memorable Magical Moments from an incredible magical career because you learnt a few practical tips from someone who has done it?
Warning! This book is written in lay language with blunt wording and vital, to-the-point information for over 18's! If you are entitled and believe the world 'owes you' – then this book isn't for you! If you are open-minded, prepared to listen and also accept a kick up the rear end in order to help you achieve your dreams, then you need to buy this book now!

WARNING
This book contains lay language and blunt wording in terms of the terminology and expressions used. It is a book written because of a ‘calling’ to help young people change their lives for the better.
Sadly with all the self-righteous, liberal and politically correct groups on the planet today, people are to scared to call a spade a spade and tend to beat about the bush when it comes to offering sincere, solid and no holds barred guidance. In my opinion, too much pampering and fear of not wanting to offend! Well, there’s none of that in this book!
For me, it is about teaching you about life and that there is a lot more to spending your life as a professional magician than just doing magic. It is aimed at giving you a chance at success. I have published so many magic books and always been ‘nice’ and often feel that this has not made any difference. So maybe it’s time I change my approach and use the same methods I use when I personally mentor people ‘one-on-one’ as this is the only place I have seen results. Be prepared, this book is going to kick your arse and stir the pot in the hope that the ‘wake up call’ will drive you to make something of this incredible career.
Deal with it, grow up and take the guidance in the purity of spirit it is meant. If you can’t deal with that and get offended by anything that doesn’t fit within your bubble of existence, give the book to someone with the drive who really wants to change their life for the better.
Simple as that!

PROLOGUE
I have been a professional magician for over 30 years, travelled the world, had my own prime-time TV shows, written numerous books and basically lived the dream, even though I am not an American magician! This may be a shock for many of you and hard to believe, but yep, even outside the USA one can attain fame and fortune and live one’s dream!
One difference with myself is that I started focusing on the corporate sector and incorporating motivational speaking (with a magic touch) in what I do, and hence made many new speaker friends in the professional speaking world. One of them is a dear speaker friend, Dave Rogers with whom I was having a zoom chat a while back and we were looking at topics we could collaborate on, plus exploring avenues for launching some new self-help courses as COVID-19 infringes more on our world towards the end of 2020.
He made a suggestion I tackle a topic, ‘Myself now, versus 10 years ago and what I have learnt and would do differently.’ Wow, what a topic and very apt for today! However, as I am now over 55 and I look back on the incredible life magic has given me; yes I was stupid when I was younger and luck helped me a lot. The last 10 years saw a huge change in the world, but all in all, had I had different advice, or had things explained differently to me 30 years ago, I may have been a lot better off than I am today.
So rather than teach you the secrets of tricks, I am going to teach you the secret of living a magical life in retirement.

INTRODUCTION
I’m a magic nut! I’m sure many of the male magicians have heard their wive’s tell them that their magic drives them nuts. I can talk about magic, develop ideas, watch other magicians and basically relate anything to magic 24/7/365. I love magic!
Simple as that! The fact that I made a success and good money, plus lived a celebrity lifestyle is all a bonus, plus admittedly, a lot of luck. Today I look around and see my magic hero’s dying poor, colleagues my age struggling and I wonder what they did all their magical lives? I mean, I saw all the publicity, posters, shows and accolades they supposedly received - so where did the money go? Was it all a lie? Was it their best kept secret ever? What happened?
I grew up in a 3rd world country where my hero magician as a youngster was a huge TV star. Before he died I hear he rented a room in the maid’s quarters of a friend. What happened?
So… this book is about sharing tips, tricks and ideas that I wish someone had told me when I was 20 or 30. Advice I wish someone had given me so that I could have made a few better placed strategic decisions
