About this ebook
“The Lockpick” follows a pair of friends, business partners, and part time criminals, Geoff and Oliver. Geoff proposes the two branch out from petty theft, and rob an art museum. While Oliver thinks Geoff is just desperate for a new adrenalin rush, he is in fact trying to help his friend come out of his shell and enjoy living in the moment.
“Neighbors” is about Kyle, a hitman who is contracted to kill his neighbor, Stephen Meador. However, Kyle is reluctant, as the two have been close for years. This causes tension between Kyle and his partner, Alan, who is completely unaware of their history, forcing Kyle to make a difficult decision.
“Cold” is a story told from the first-person perspective of a recently passed, young individual, who wanders their hometown, regaining their lost memories as they visit certain locations. Meanwhile, throughout their journey, there is a cold sensation and feeling of being watched that follows them, and only gets stronger as they get closer to the truth.
