The misjudgments of others don’t define the truth of yourself, they simply only show you the truth of others.
Puzzle
My life
Is a puzzle
Yet to be
Solved,
My mind
Is a maze
That I myself
Am lost in.
My heart
Is full
Of warmth
My soul
A treasure
To find
My values
I hold dear,
As they took
A while to find.
My body is a temple
Not for the
Weak at heart.
My life is a puzzle,
I told you at the start.
Mistaken
A warm home
To live,
A bed to lie,
A chance
To love
Again.
A tight embrace
A kind word
Spoken,
Lets cold
Hearts re-open.
A smile followed
Without a
Frown
Helps the strongest
Walls crash down.
Once so scared
Now awaken,
A life
Can never
Be mistaken.
Broken Past
A dream to live another day,
A chance to survive,
As hopes slip away.
With question of why
The beauty within
Gives opportunity to those
Who wish to win.
A life without dreams,
Holds empty spaces
Near one’s heart
With nowhere to escape,
A broken past.
Reason
Crying shame
Anyone’s game,
Fighting to win
The start looks dim.
Reason with truth
Followed behind,
Fears of tomorrow
Set aside.
No one
No one hits harder
Than the one you
Love,
No one makes
Your heartache
And your body
Feel numb.
No one helps you
Understand the beauty
You hold within,
No one helps you fight
Your demons
Ensuring that you’ll
Win.
No one satisfies your needs
Nobody speaks your mind
No one, but the one
You love
Is there for you all the time.
Blue
A child neither simple nor rare places a crayon on a table with a blank sheet of paper,
This child is unaware of what to write or draw,
But this child doesn’t like building sandcastles anymore.
Sitting with a crayon in her hand,
The child starts to move,
Even with her wrist swaying so softly
She finds she is drawing,
But the crayon is marking blue,
Blue isn’t the colour crayon the child intended to use,
So, she puts it back into the box,
The crayon now has been used.
