    Preface

The Book of Genesis for Beginners is designed for people interested in the Book of Genesis, but find the Book of Genesis in the Bible too long to read through. The reason why I wrote this book is because I remember when I was interested in the Book of Genesis, but I could not find it in me to read through the entire first book of the Bible. I remember looking at the Bible, wanting to read it, but finding the task too big to accomplish. If I had this book available to me back then, I would be more willing to read the Book of Genesis later on.

My hopes is that after reading this book, not only will you have a much better understanding of the Book of Genesis, but later on, you will want to read the Book of Genesis in Bible. This book is basically a foot-in-the-door for you to be open to the possibility of reading the Book of Genesis in the Bible at some point in your lifetime.

    God Bless,

    Day One

    Gen 1:3-5

    Day Two

    Gen 1:6-8

God created water on the earth. God created water on the ground and up above. God made air in between the two waters.

    Day Three

    Gen 1:9-13

God raised part of the earth to make dry land. The waters that remained on earth were called seas. God created vegetation, plants, and fruit trees.

    Day Four

    Gen 1:14-19

God made the sun to rule the day. God made the moon to rule the night. God also made the stars to navigate.

    Day Five

    Gen 1:20-23

God created living creatures in the sea. God created birds to fly in the air.

    Day Six

    Gen 1:24-31

God created living creatures to live on land - livestock, creepy things, and beasts were included. God made man in His image. God gave man dominion over all of the earth and everything in it. God told everything that was alive on earth to be fruitful and multiply.

    Genesis Chapter 2

God Rests on the Seventh Day

    Gen 2:1-3

God finished creating all the Heavens, the earth, and even the angels on the sixth day of creation. On the seventh day God looked at all He created and was pleased. God then rested on the seventh day.

    Man and Woman is Created

    Gen 2:4-25

God created man out of the dust of the earth and breathed life into him by way of his nostrils. God then made the Garden of Eden for man to dwell in. In the garden, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge were made. God put man in charge of maintaining and caring for the Garden of Eden. God commanded man not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge.

God did not want man to be alone so He put animals in the garden to keep man company. However, man was not content with the company of animals. So God put man to sleep and removed a rib from him. God made a woman from the rib of man to keep
