RITUALS

casting circle

First set up your altar with the appropriate tools. Have a candle for the Goddess and God.(white of silver) for the Goddess and (yellow or gold) for the God. Light your incense

Holding your wand in the right hand pointing out in front of you. Walk clockwise in a circle three times.

Walk the circle the first time and say

Project the white light

out from my wand

to create the circle as

geometrically perfect.

Walk the circle the second time and say.

I cast this circle to protect me/us from all negative&positive energies & forces on any level that may come to do me/us harm. I draw into this circle only the energies & forces that are right for me/us & the most correct for my/our work.

Walk the circle the third time and say.

I create sacred space. so mote it be.

Now invoke the quarters. As you say each quarter make the sing of the pentagram with your wand.

Face the East and say

To the East, I invite the powers of air

To blow out the old and bring in the new.

On your winds of change.

Face the South and say

To the South, I invite the powers of fire

to burn away regrets.

Shine your gentle fays upon me for growth.

Face the West and say

To the West, I invite the power of water

To cleanse me of negativity

Purify my thoughts.

Face the North and say.

To the North, I invite the power of earth.

Let your renewing strength bury all ills.

Open new paths before me.

Now invoke the Goddess and God, When you do this light there candles,

I invoke and call upon thee O Mother Goddess

who shines for all, who flows through all,

Maiden, Mother and Crone,

I invite you to my circle,

Touch us, change us, make us whole.

I invoke and call upon thee O Farther God, Lord of

the Sun, Master of all that is wild and free.

I invite your to my circle;

Touch us, change us, make us whole.

Now you may do your Magick or Chants or what ever you want.

Closing the circle give thanks to the quarters and the Goddess and God putting out there candles as you do. Holding your wand in your right hand again walk counter clockwise and say.

I send this circle into the cosmos

to do my bidding.

The circle is closed but not broken.

May the peace of the

Goddess be forever in my heart.

Blessed be all.

Invoking chants for Elements, Goddess, God

The Elements

Air, Fire, Water, Earth,

Elements of Astral birth,

I call you now attend to me!

In the circle, rightly cast,

Safe from psychic curse or blast

I call you now attend to me!

From cave and desert, sea nad hill

By wand, blade cup and pentacle,

I call you now attend to me!

This is my will, So Mote it be

The Goddess

RITUAL FOR IMBOLIC

Supplies: Symbol of the season. such as a white flower, snow in a crystal container. also needed an orange candle anointed with cinnamon, frankincense or rosemary oil (unlit) red candle to represent the elements and your ritual supplies.

Arrange the altar, light the candles and censer and cast the circle

Invoke the Goddess and God

Say such words as the following

This is the time of the feast of torches,

when every lamp blazes and shines

to welcome the rebirth of the God

I/we celebrate the Goddess.

I/ we celebrate the God.

All the Earth celebrates

Beneath its mantle of sleep.

Light the orange taper from the red candle on the altar, Slowly walk the circle clockwise, bearing the candle before you and say these or similar words.

All the land is wrapped in winter

The air is chilled and

frost envelopes the Earth,

But Lord of the Sun.

Horned one of animals and wild places,

unseen you have been reborn

of the gracious Mother Goddess.

Lady of all fertility.

Hail Great God!

Hail and welcome

Stop before the altar, holding aloft the candle, gaze at its flame. Visualize your life blossoming with creativity, with renewed energy and strength.

If you need to look into the future or past, now is an ideal time. Works of magick if necessary may follow.

Celebrate the simple feast. Thank the Goddess and God and release the Circle.

RITUAL FOR OSTARA

Flowers should be laid on the altar, placed around the circle and strewn on the ground. The cauldron can be filled with spring water and flowers, and buds and blossoms may be worn as well. A small potted plant should be placed on the altar,

Arrange the altar, light the candles and incense, and cast the circle invoke the Goddess and God in whatever words please you Stand before the altar and gaze upon the plant as you say

O Great Goddess you have freed yourself from the icy prison of winter. Now is the greening when the fragrance of flowers drifts on the breeze, This is the beginning Life renews itself by your magick. Earth Goddess, The God stretches and rises, eager in his youth, and bursting with the promise of summer.

touch the plant, Connect with its energies a;nd through it all nature, Travel inside its leaves and stems through your visualization from the center of your consciousness out through your arm and fingers and into the plant itself. Explore its inner nature, sense the miraculous processes of life at work within it after a time, still touching the plant, say"

I walk the Earth in friendship, not in dominance. Mother Goddess and Father God, instill within me through this plant a warmth for all living things. Teach me to revere the Earth and all its treasures. May I never forget.

Meditate upon the changing of the seasons. feel the rousing of energies around you in the Earth.

Works of magick. if necessary, may follow celebrate the simple feast Thank the Goddess and God and Release the Circle.

BELTANE RITUAL

I try to do my ritual near a tree or in the woods but if you are not able try to have a small potted tree with you in your circle. Create a small token or charm in honor of the wedding of the Goddess and God to hang upon the tree. You can make several if you wish. These tokens can be flowers strung together string of beads. I did a wreath of small pine cones last year. and this year I did clay dragonfly’s and butterfly’s. Whatever your talent can conjure.

Arrange the altar, light the candles and censer. and cast the circle. Invoke the Goddess and God, Stand before the altar and say with wand upraised. O Mother Goddess, Queen of the night and of the Earth

O Father God, King of the day and of the forests I celebrate You union as nature rejoices in a riotous blaze of color and life,

Accept my gift, Mother Goddess and Father God, in honor of your union

Place the tokens on the tree and say;

From you mating shall spring forth life anew. a profusion of living creatures shall cover the lands and the winds will blow pure and sweet.

O Ancient Ones, I celebrate with you!

Now do any spell or magick you wish or have to do if necessary, celebrate with a simple feast release the circle and thank the Goddess, God, and Elements.
