    Rama is a brave man

    Rama is a humble man

Rama is a good hearted man

    Truthful one he was

    Merciful one he was

    Son of kaushalya

    Son of Dasaratha

    God of Hanuma

    Lover of Seeta

    Friend of Sugreeva

    Enemy of Ravana

    King of Ayodhya

    Brother of Bharatha

    Almighty of universe

    Rama incarnation of lord Vishnu

    Erstwhile   in   vaikuntha   lord Vishnu,

    Vishnu’s queen   goddess Lakshmi twines

    Playing Chadaranga.

    His guards Jaya vijaya

Standing at vaikuntha dwaram (‘the gate to Lord's Inner Sanctum’)

    At that time   Brahma   sons

    Sanakasa nandana; sanat kumara

    Sanat sujata visited vaikunta

    For darshan of Vishnu.

    They were

    Stopped by guards jaya vijaya

    Brahma sons in angry.

    Cursed the guards.

    To be born in earth.

    Guards hollered.

    Pleased   them

    Then Lord Vishnu told them

    You have two alternatives

    One is in seven births

    By worshipping lord Vishnu

Then they can come to vaikuntha

    Second one is

    In three births

    By   vengeance on him

And will be killed by him

    They will return

    To vaikuntha.

    Jaya, vijaya

    Said they can’t leave him

    For seven births.

    So they choose

    Three births

    Enmity on him.

    Narayana smiled

    And agreed.

    First birth of them

    Was hiranyasksha. Hiranyakasipu

    Two brothers in demon family

    Hiranyaksha troubled mother earth

    Troubled all living things

    Mother earth prayed

    To lord Vishnu

    So lord Vishnu incarnated

    Himself in varaha rupa

    Hiranyaksha.

Killed by Vishnu in varaha rupa

    His brother hiranyakasipu

    Conquered heaven

    And killed those who

    chanted narayana’s name.

    Then his son prahalada born

Prahalada was devotee of lord Vishnu

    Hiranyakasipu tortured

    Prahalada to stop chanting name

    Of lord Vishnu.

    Hiranyakasipu.

    Killed by Vishnu

    In narasimha incarnation

    In second birth

    Yon brothers were born as

    Ravana, kumbakarna

    They were Brahma’s grandson’s.

    They suffered

    Saints, innocent’s, ladies.

    They obtained boon from Brahma

Their death was not in hands

    Of gods; demons; snakes;

    Except human beings

Monkeys no one can kill them.

    So Vishnu taken birth

As a human being in ayodhya

    Balakanda

    Dasaratha and his wife kaushalya

    Perform tapasya for Vishnu

    In previous birth.

Wished by Vishnu   as he would

    Born as their son

    In next birth.

    Raghuvamsa (raghu race) was a

    Famed one in culture.

    The race began from ikshvaku

    It’s named as surya

    Dynasty. Ajaa king

    Was father of Dasaratha

    Dasaratha king of ayodhya

    He had   three   wives.

    Kaushalya; sumitra; kaikeyi.

    Yon queens were good hearted.

    Humble; pretty women.

The three queens were devotees of

Narayana. They worshipped lord Shiva also.

Dasaratha ruled people in humble manner.

    He was good at heart.

    He was a brave emperor.

He helped sometimes even deva raj

    Indra in wars against demons

In yon war his wife kaikeyi

    Had helped him in trouble

Then he gave two wishes kaikeyi

She told him she could ask him yon wishes

    Whence she needed his help

    After marrying three wives

    Dasaratha didn’t have children.

It was a sorrow in his life.

    He prayed to gods.

He donated alms to sacred people.

Once he went to forest for hunting.

While hunting it was getting dark.

    He followed a deer.

At a lake he heard some noise.

He thought that it was deer’s drinking sound.

He thought deer was drinking water.

    He strike arrow sabtha beri

    It could move in direction

    Where the sound was heard.

    There was a young man

    Taking water from lake.

He was injured by that arrow

    Dasaratha felt guilty.

While dying yon young man requested

    King Dasaratha to give

Some water for his thirst parents.

Dasaratha took some water and went to

Yon old couple who were parents of

    Yon young man named shravan.

    They had no eye sight.

    They cursed him.

    As he should

Suffer in agony of a son

    They both left their lives.

Dasaratha felt at their hard ship.

    He came back to ayodhya.

    Later some years he performed

    Putrakamesti yaga for

    Birth of sons

    Dasaratha adopted a female child

    Named santha

And did her marriage to rishyasringa

    Rishyasringa was a sage

    He did putra kamesti yaga

    For Dasaratha

With the help of vasista his teacher.

    Ramayana-puja.jpg

In that yaga   Agni deva lord of

Fire appeared   gave one golden pot.

    It contained payasa is prepared

    By milk with rice.

Dasaratha shared it half to kaushalya.

    Another half to kaikeyi.

    They both gave to sumitra

    Half of their shares.

    After ten months

Kaushalya gave birth to a male child.

    Kaikeyi gave birth to one
