DISCOVERY OF FOOTPRINTS OF RAM IN CHHATTISGARH

Ram, not just a name here … is a symbol of faith, belief, devotion, affinity, courage, strength, dignity and self-respect. Along with the me of Ram, many glimpses of his personality are also seen in the people here. This is the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya and the 'Nanihal' maternal home of Shri Ram.

This is Chhattisgarh, which was known as 'Dakshina Kosala' in the Ramayana era. Mata Kaushalya's father Sukaushal was the king of this region. Due to this, even today the people of Chhattisgarh consider Lord Shri Ram as their 'nephew' and worship him in this form.
