Alcohol the Great Poison - Rodney Tupweod

    Alcohol the Great Poison

    ALCOHOL

    THE GREAT POISON

    By RODNEY TUPWEOD

    Introduction

This Book is about my experience with alcohol and how I perceive this particular drug, Legal as it may be

For most of my life I have partook in the consumption of it and from my earliest memories

I have delved into the amazing control that it can bestow on anyone, is it the taste, of the actual contents, which draws us to a particular brand, as one would be drawn to other consumables, such as ice cream, chocolate, coffee, tea, etc.

Or is it for the sake of the Alcohol itself, where to many, taste wouldn’t make a difference, just the fact that alcohol is present

I have sampled 90% of all mainstream drinks, beers, spirits, and a smaller selection of wines ports and Brandy’s Cognac

I have drank nearly every day of my life from the age of maybe as young as fifteen 15 yrs.

Never planned to abstain for any length of time, But a number of years ago I decided to give it a break, it was just a break and of many

But the withdrawal symptoms I experienced were as frightening as could possibly be. The pain I endured, the chills, fever, bowel and urine disruption

I never suffered with any hallucinations, or severe change in character or personality, except many been a little cranky, tetchy

Similarly experienced when abstaining from smoking
