A Time for Us - Wayne Snow

    A Time for Us

    A TIME FOR US

Who do you have for History, Cody?  He is young, isn't he? I have him too but in a different class. Well, I want to tell you about this guy that's in that class with me. He seems odd, Ruth said.  He is good looking. I heard the Professor call him Art. I think I know who you mean He is in our photography class too, right? : What about him? Dana asked.  I am curious about him. I saw him riding his motorbike up the trail to the canyon. He didn't come back for hours, Ruth told her. Were you watching him? Dana asked. Well, I am curious about him; he is so strange and what could he be possibly doing in the canyon for hours. Ruth asked. How often have you seen him go?  He goes there almost every night. So how curious are you? Are you curious enough to follow him? Dana asked. Yes, I think I am, I don't want him to catch us, Ruth said. What do you mean us? Dana said quickly, looking at Ruth. I would never go alone. Do you still have your motorbike? I never see you ride it anymore? Yes, I still have it needs some work my father is repairing it. He was supposed to finish today if he gets a chance to work on it. He said he would try. He has been putting it off, but he promised me that he would try to do it today. I think he will when he promises he most usually does what he says if it is at all possible. How can we follow him without being seen? Ruth asked. I think the best thing for us would be to go over there and hide and watch for him. What time does he usually go? Dana asked. Usually, he goes right after dinner while it's still light. It looks like his last class is about four o'clock. Then I think he goes home cleans up has dinner and then goes right after that, Ruth said. So what is that about six? Yeah, it's usually around six. Do you think he will go tomorrow? Dana Asked. Yes, I think so. When is your last class? I finish my last class at four. Ruth answered. That will give us plenty of time. We can be up there by five and find a good place to hide our bikes and watch for him.  Okay sounds like a plan.  I have to go too, my math professor is giving us a quiz tomorrow, so I have to look at some things and study. When I get home, I will text you and let you know if my father finished my motorbike or not. Okay, I have some things too, so I'll see you tomorrow. Yesum, good night, Ruth told her.
