About this ebook

After being accused of her family's murder, Sarah Campbell has moved from her home in Odessa, Texas to the smaller, peaceful town of Manchester, New Hampshire. Stuck in an unfamiliar place, Sarah rediscovers joy in her oldest hobby: dance.

Sarah joins a local dance-team run by dance legend Jay McConnell and befriends her teammates Haley Graham, Shannon Lewis, Mandy Meyers and Nikki Summers. Sarah is also introduced to the girls' boyfriends, including Cj Walker, Roy Brown and Lucas Depp.

Trouble soon finds Sarah, again, when a local news reporter, Heather Gale, from Texas, follows her to New Hampshire, revealing the dark secrets of her past and accusing her of a new string of local murders. One by one, her friends begin to drop like flies in a very familiar pattern. Could Sarah and the murders be connected? Or has someone else taken their love of the STAB movies one step too far?

    FOREWORD

    Joshua Patrick Dudley

Words cannot describe the amount of fun that I have had while writing and directing the Stab movies. I feel so lucky to have worked with such talented and motivated actors who weren’t scared to take chances with the script. The actors seemed to really enjoy performing the lines and scenes that I wrote, and, to me, that was the biggest thank you I could ask for. But to be where we are today, past 21 million YouTube views and counting, I would have never expected it when we started filming Stab 4.

Let’s face it. The Stab movies are supposed to be cheesy and I knew that going into our first movie, Stab 4: Fresh Blood, which is by far the tackiest, over-the-top Stab script I have written. Characters from the Scream movies are mimicked and even their names are similar to characters from the Scream-verse. Stab 4 is supposedly Sunrise Studios next entry into the Stab films after Sidney Prescott has threatened to sue them if they continue to use her character. So, what do they do? Of course, they build a movie as close to the first three as possible and hope the tried and proven formula continues to sell tickets.

Intentionally tacky doesn’t always play well on camera but, we sure had a ton of fun filming Stab 4. I had never made a movie before, so I like to think of Stab 4 as my warm-up entry into the Stab franchise. I mean, we filmed this movie on a 100-dollar budget and used a Flip camera… enough said. I wouldn’t change a second of the movie, bad or not, because it means something special to me. It was the beginning. The start of the madness.

Thank you for watching and reading.

    FADE IN:

EXT. LARGE APARTMENT BUILDING - NIGHT

A large, brick, four-story apartment building stands tall in the moonlight.

A single vehicle drives past the building and parks in the closest spot possible.

HALEY GRAHAM, 24, light features and a stunning beauty, sits behind the wheel, talking on her cell phone. She’s dressed professionally and she’s working the outfit.

    INT. HALEY’S CAR - NIGHT

Haley rests her head in her free hand and lets out a sigh.

HALEY (to phone) Lou... I’ve done everything I can to help you... I’m only an assistant...

    We hear her boss’s response.

LOU I want it on my desk first thing in the morning.

CLICK. He hangs up on her.

HALEY If I show up in the morning. Asshole. (beat) Damn it!

She tosses her phone into her purse and then removes her keys from the ignition.

Then grabs a bag of groceries from the passenger seat before getting out of the car.

    EXT. COURTYARD - NIGHT

Haley makes her way toward the door.

A familiar face, TRAVIS TATE, 27, dark and awkward, but still handsome, the building’s night 2nd shift security guard. He’s walking with a FLASHLIGHT, making his rounds.

TRAVIS Hello, Miss Graham. Late night?

HALEY (politely) Late as always, Travis. Have a good night.

    INT. LOBBY - NIGHT

Haley enters, stops for her MAIL, then goes through another door, this one locked, into the...

    INT. HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

Haley steps inside the building and presses the elevator button. She hums to herself as she enters it.

    INT. ELEVATOR – CONTINUOUS

She pushes the button for the fourth floor.

She watches the floor indicator lights all the way up to the fourth floor.

Then makes her way into the

And then quickly into her apartment.

    INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

    HALEY Hello? I’m home.

LUCAS (from the living room) In here!

HALEY (sarcastically) Thanks for helping with the groceries.

She kicks off her shoes then makes her way from the door to the kitchen. It’s a modest apartment with an open floor plan. And a rock-climbing wall in the
