About this ebook

After more of the Stab 4 cast is brutally murdered, reporter Kylie Scott, now the author of a book entitled "Manchester Massacre,"convinces the Rachel Arnold and the StabMovies team to begin production on a new Stab 5, based on the "real life" murders of the cast of Stab 4: Fresh Blood.

To cast this new "inspired-by-another-true-story" film, production also begins on a Stab Reality/Competition television show, where contestants compete for four roles in the new Stab 5.

The only problem is: once you become a cast member of a Stab movie... someone... somewhere... wants you dead.

    FOREWORD

Stab 6 is by far my absolute favorite script that I have written so far. I took a lot of chances with the storyline and characters and I think those chances paid off. One of my main goals when writing Stab 6 was to increase the amount of comedy. Let’s face it, we make amateur-grade horror movies for the internet, there’s got to be something entertaining to help you sit through an hour and a half of YouTube horror. Thus, Stab 6: Ghostface Returns was born.

The basic setting of Stab 6 is something I had never really seen before. Almost half of the movie takes place inside one house, on the set of a reality TV show. I’ve seen other horror movies that are set in one house, some that even involve camera crews, but none that were set during the filming of a reality competition show. I thought the idea was a fun way to trap everyone inside a house and I also think it has just enough cheese-factor to make it a Stab storyline.

The script for Stab 6 is also a little darker than the other movies. The main character, Shannon (played by the incredibly talented Stephanie Maheu), is really trying to cope with the fact that she’s now addicted to pain killers because she’s trying to shake the thoughts of Stab 5 from her head. Her character has become the most developed character in our franchise, which was not something I never envisioned happening, but Stephanie became my muse.

The other characters returning from Stab 5, me, Rachel and Dylan, also get special treatments. SPOILER ALERT. I survive for a whopping two pages of the script, which allows Rachel’s character to really take over. Rachel has grown so much as an actress; it was fun to watch her play something different than the last two movies. And Dylan finally gets to do some police work on her own!

Filming Stab 6 was also probably the best filming we have had to date, too. The cast, all of them, were absolutely exceptional at what they do, and they had to put up with a lot. Most of them ended up covered from head to toe in fake blood and we all had to deal with 100 plus degree temperatures. And we were happy to add more out-of-state cast members to our cast! Ashley Younger, who played Elise, is probably the breakout star of Stab 6, which makes me happy because writing her character was the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

While filming, we decided we really wanted it to feel like you were watching a reality show. So, I experimented a lot with shaky-camera techniques and perspectives that gave it the reality feel. Also, adding Jeff Davis, who played Corey the cameraman to the cast, made it really feel like the cast was constantly being watched/filmed, which they were, by the killers. Though, I did originally intend to have a much larger film crew in the movie.

The ending of Stab 6 is a tribute to the original ending of Scream 2 and is basically a blood bath. We really wanted to turn the gore-factor up a notch with Stab 6, which I think is evident in the gutting and massacre scenes.

As a special bonus, I decided to include the original opening sequence in this script which features me and Jennifer Sue Mallard. This scene was never filmed and was ultimately changed to the opening scene you see featuring Laura and Adam. I LOVE this scene and wish we got to film it but, I think what we did film came out pretty epic!

Overall, I think Stab 6 is the best movie we’ve put out yet (minus the terrible audio issues) and I’m looking forward to continuing with Stab 7! The support and love of all of our fans means the world to me and I can’t thank you enough for watching our movies, buying our scripts and rocking our T-Shirts! To all of our fans, this script is for you.

Thank you for watching and reading.

    INT. HOUSE - NIGHT

A young girl of 17. Sweet. Innocent in that scrubbed clean way. Looks like a virgin. Probably not.

    VOICE (from phone) Hello.

    SHERRIE Uhh... Yes?

    VOICE Who is this?

    SHERRIE Who are you calling?

VOICE Who am I speaking to?

    CUT TO:

INT. LAURA & ADAM’S LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

We see a close-up of LAURA COLEMAN’S face. Some will recognize her from STAB 4.

    She doesn’t look amused.

    LAURA Annnd... I’m bored already...

We see a shot of the TV still playing Scream 4.

Laura pounces on top of ADAM KAUFMANN (also from Stab 4), lays him down on his back on the couch and kisses him.

    She giggles some more.

    ADAM Wow! Someone’s feisty tonight!

LAURA It’s our anniversary! I gotta put out! Those are the rules!

    ADAM I’m not complaining!

Laura leans in and kisses Adam some more.

She pulls away and gazes into his eyes lovingly.

LAURA Been together 3 years today... and officially engaged for a whole year!

We see another shot of the TV still playing SCREAM 4.

ADAM And by this time next year, we’ll be married!

LAURA Hey! I thought we agreed no wedding talk tonight. I’m up to my ears in stress trying to plan this whole thing while you work all the time--

ADAM Hey! No wedding talk! Remember? They both laugh and start kissing again.

LAURA Mmmm... Fine! But... I have to tell you something...

ADAM Uh-oh.... please don’t tell me I’m gonna be a daddy... my mom will be so mad if you get pregnant before we’re married!

LAURA No! Silly! Nothing that bad...

We see another shot of the TV still playing SCREAM 4.

Laura looks to the TV to try and differ her attention, but Adam pulls it back to him.

    ADAM But...

LAURA But... I invited Josh Dudley to our wedding...

ADAM (not happy) You did?! C’mon babe! I can’t stand him! He’s so full of himself...

LAURA I’ve known him for years, Adam! And besides, he’s the reason we got introduced! I think he should be at our wedding...

    ADAM No more wedding talk!

LAURA Just say he can come!

    ADAM NO MORE WEDDING TALK!

    Laura’s cell phone rings.

    LAURA Say he can come!

ADAM Your phone is ringing... aren’t you gonna answer it?

LAURA Not til you answer me!

She picks up her phone and looks at it: "UNKNOWN CALLER"

She looks at Adam, waiting for an answer while her phone continues to ring and then finally asks...

LAURA So... what’s it gonna be?

    ADAM FINE! He can come!

    LAURA Thank you babe!

    ADAM (under his breath) Whatever...

Laura plants another kiss on Adam and then sits up and places her phone to her ear.

Adam picks up the remote and pauses the movie right on the STAB 6 logo.

    LAURA (to phone) Hello?

    VOICE (from phone) Hello.

    LAURA Hi.

    VOICE Is this Laura?

ADAM (to Laura) Who is it?

Laura waves him off and shrugs her shoulders.

LAURA (to phone) Yes, this is Laura. Who’s this?

    VOICE Guess.

LAURA Ummm... I don’t know... Matt? Have you been drinking?

    ADAM Who is it?

LAURA (to Adam) I don’t know! Now be quiet so I can hear. (to phone) Hello, sorry. Matt is this you?

    VOICE No.

LAURA Oh, OK. Well, when you feel like telling me who you are, call me back. Until then, stop interrupting my anniversary!

CLICK! Laura hangs up the phone.

    ADAM Who was that?

LAURA (a little too aggressively) For the fourth fucking time: I don’t know!

ADAM Whoa, chill! What’s your problem?

LAURA I don’t know... that voice... it creeped me out... reminded me of someone...

    ADAM Who?

    LAURA UGH! I DON’T KNOOOOOOOOOOOW!

    ADAM Geez, I’m sorry.

    Laura’s phone rings again.

    She answers it right away.

    LAURA Who is this?

VOICE You tell me your name, I’ll tell you mine.

LAURA You already know my name.

VOICE You know, for an actress, you’re not very good at role playing...

LAURA I’m not an actress... The only thing I ever acted in was... (a thought sparks in her head) oh shit...

    ADAM
