About this ebook

Five years have passed since the events of Stab 6: Ghostface Returns. Rachel and Kylie have successfully gotten away with plotting the deaths of their reality television show cast and are planning another string of murders.

A Stab TV series is also about to hit the air, after Rachel lost the rights to the franchise, and another killer is targeting the same people as Rachel’s Ghostface... the cast of the Stab TV series that revolves around Sarah Campbell's daughter, expanding upon the story of Stab 4: Fresh Blood. Are the TV show murders connected to the original cast of Stab 4?

Only one thing’s for sure: in the finale all the rules get broken.

    FOREWORD

Making the Stab movies has been one of the most exciting and frustrating projects I have ever taken on. I have been a fan of the SCREAM movies since the first one came out in 1996. It was the first horror movie I ever watched while home alone and it scared the shit out of me.

I saw Scream 2 in theaters and was so scared by the opening scene, that I made my father accompany me to the bathroom when I had to pee. There was no way I was going alone and getting stabbed in the head.

I also saw Scream 3 in theaters, this time with my grandmother, and by this time I had overcome my fear of Ghost Face to the point that cheered every time the killer appeared on screen.

Several years later, Scream 4 was announced and I decided to recreate the famous Stab movies inside of the Scream movies, just for fun. To my surprise, there were tons of other fans that also wanted to see the Stab movies and we became an overnight sensation on YouTube.

Stab 4: Fresh Blood, Stab 5 and Stab 6: Ghostface Returns were an absolute blast to film and I loved every second of it, although it was a ton of work. Then Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter happened and that’s when the curse began. Production was taking forever, we kept losing locations and actors. It is important to note that all of our actors work for free, so those who aren’t as committed as the rest sometimes just don’t show up for their scheduled filming. This happened so frequently during production on Knife of the Hunter that we eventually decided to shut it down and start over.

Production on Stab 7 began two years later and almost instantly the same thing began to happen: actors didn’t show up. We recast one role so many times that we eventually wrote a character out of the script. Overall, the script went through eleven rewrites and four scene re-shoots, costing me thousands of dollars out of my own pocket, before we decided that the Stab 7 curse was too much to handle and shut down its production as well.

This was really hard for me to deal with. I LOVED the Stab 7 script and hated to let it go, but I simply couldn’t afford to keep trying. It’s a shame that this film may never be fully completed, but I hope you enjoy reading the script to fill in all the holes.

Thank you for watching and reading.

EXT. SHANNON NIGHTINGALE'S HOUSE - NIGHT

We see the outside of Shannon's house. A new house.

INT. SHANNON'S LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

We see SHANNON. She's laying on the floor, writing in a journal, by candlelight.

She's surrounded by piles of yet-to-be-unpacked boxes.

    Her phone rings.

    INT. SHANNON'S KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

She crosses into her kitchen and picks up her phone off of her stove.

    Missed call: blocked caller.

    SHANNON I don't think so.

    Suddenly, her power turns off.

    Dead silence.

Thank goodness Shannon has a thousand candles lit.

    We hear a scratching noise.

EXT. SHANNON NIGHTINGALE'S HOUSE - NIGHT

We see TV GhostFace dragging his knife across the bedroom windows, from the outside.

    INT. SHANNON'S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS

Shannon crosses into the bedroom slowly, just in the time see him walk by one of the last windows.

There are two more windows, but TV GhostFace hasn't appeared in them.

Shannon gets closer and peers out of it.

BAM! TV GhostFace smacks the window as he appears.

SHANNON What the fuck is going on? What are you doing?

    TV GHOSTFACE Scaring you....

    SHANNON It's not working.

    TV GHOSTFACE You sure?

    SHANNON Cut the shit!

TV GHOSTFACE I'm sorry Shannon, you're not in charge anymore.

SHANNON You're turning on me, too?! I'm so fuckin sick of this! Dube, Chason and now you, too?!

TV GHOSTFACE You still don't get it do you? You're Shannon Nightingale. The ultimate status kill. If I kill you, the whole world will be talking about it tomorrow. And you're making it easy too.

TV GhostFace looks toward the side door.

Shannon knows what he's looking at.

TV GhostFace You left your door unlocked.

They both dart for the door!

Shannon slams it shut and tries to lock it, but TV GhostFace kicks it in.

Shannon takes off running but TV GhostFace leaps on top of her, sending them both falling into a pile of boxes.

TV GhostFace swings his knife, but Shannon blocks it with a box.

She tries to pull a gun on TV GhostFace, but he kicks it out of her hands.

She uses the boxes and their contents to fight TV GhostFace.

Shannon smacks TV GhostFace with a wrench twice and he goes down.

She tries to take off his mask.

He stabs her in the gut.

    She falls back...

TV GhostFace is still down and in pain, but he rises.

    TV GHOSTFACE Time to die.

    Shannon has the gun!

She pulls it out and aims... click... click... click....

TV GHOSTFACE Didn't anybody ever tell you not to bring a broken gun to a knife fight?

    click... click... click....

TV GHOSTFACE Your time is up Shannon.

    click... click... click....

    TV GHOSTFACE Game over.

    click... click... click....

Shannon gives up on the gun.

She slowly starts to lose consciousness from the blood loss but as she does a smile crosses her face.

SHANNON It doesn't matter anyway. You can't kill
