PROFESSIONS DESCRIPTIONS
Acrobat
Leaping, tumbling, and vaulting his way through adventure, the Acrobat is a master of acrobatic maneuvers and a highly skilled athlete. Whether he spent his career in a circus, entertaining those that paid to see the show, or used his skills to commit crime, the Acrobat is first and foremost a masterful showman.
Bonus: As a Combat Action an Acrobat can initiate a confusing series of twists, turns, leaps, and tumbles that throw his opponents off-guard and provides him with an element of surprise he otherwise lacked. For a number of combat rounds equal to one-half his DEX (round down), after initiating this special ability, the Acrobat gains a bonus to his Strike Rank and his Dodge equal to his DEX; after the time has expired the Acrobat automatically gains one level of Fatigue (see Fatigue in the RuneQuest Main Rulebook).
Alchemist
A master at manipulating various ingredients to create substances and materials of his choosing, the Alchemist is both scientist and spiritualist. One task of the Alchemist in the campaign world is the brewing of potions.
Bonus: An Alchemist can create potions in one-half the time normally required. Additionally, the Alchemist gains a bonus equal to twice his INT to skill tests involving potions and alchemy.
