About this ebook

Do you believe in Leprechauns? What about lucky clovers? It’s believed that if you were able to catch a leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day and keep his lucky clover all day, then the clover would return to the leprechaun as gold. Sound greedy? Well, actually this is what helps keep the luck coming every year on St. Patrick’s Day. The more people believe in the lucky clovers, the more gold for the leprechauns and more luck to give out! But what happens when people stop believing in the true luck of the leprechauns? There is less gold to be stored up each year, which means less luck. If there is no more luck, the leprechaun lose their role in St. Patrick’s Day and could mean the end of them all together. Can Brad and Chad help keep the luck going for one leprechaun who has lost his last piece of gold? Will their belief be enough to save all the true leprechaun luck? It’s another adventure for the Holiday Heroes!

    PROLOGUE

It was once believed that if you left your broken shoes out the night before St. Patrick’s Day, a leprechaun would come, fix your shoes and leave you a lucky four-leaf clover! Now, if you believed enough in the leprechaun’s lucky clover and were able to catch the leprechaun, you would get three wishes. And, if you kept the clover all through St. Patrick’s Day until the rainbow disappeared out of the sky, after all of your wishes came true, the clover would turn into a gold coin and go back to the leprechaun.

That may sound greedy of the leprechaun, but I want to assure you, it isn’t at all. You see, we have been made to think that leprechauns are greedy and that is why they want the gold, but that is not so. The leprechauns keep their gold in a hidden pot for a good reason. Their luck is hidden in the gold! So, it is the gold that makes the lucky clovers possible. As people believe in the leprechauns’ lucky clovers, the gold stays bountiful, allowing them to make more lucky clovers every year. This is the leprechauns’ true luck.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, I can get a lucky clover anywhere. Well, I must agree that has become the thought and belief of almost everyone today. It is, however, because of this belief that the leprechauns are in danger. You see, only a leprechaun can grant three wishes, which comes from their gold, which comes from us believing. So, the more people stop believing in the leprechauns’ lucky clovers, there will be no more gold, no more luck, and possibly no more leprechauns.

When a leprechaun loses all of his gold, he gets trapped in our world,
