      EARTHBOUND: Poems by Bobbie

      CHRISTMAS DINNER

      As Christmas morn dawns bright and clear

      And laughter fills the air,

      The children wake to find their toys

      And to fill our lives with Christmas cheer.

      Watching the upcoming morning light

      And snow flakes softly falling,

      I remember times of long ago

      And hear the children calling.

      Time for presents around the tree.

      Here's one for you with love from me.

      And here's the toy that Leiah wanted

      To fill her eyes with life and joy.

      The love that abounds in the smiles and laughs

      fills the house with warmth that lasts.

      Then it's out the door into the snow

      To watch the forts and snowmen grow.

      Turkey cooking and pies to bake.

      Cookies made for a tasty treat.

      Christmas dinner with those we love

      is truly a gift from above.

      So with this I give a Christmas wish
