And tell the world that everything's OK."

like well-worn stings,
in her eyes,
the sadness sings –
of one who was destined
for better things

Some people are born with extraordinary insight:
They see the beauty in the mundane
They feel more strongly the emotions that affect us all
They understand more fully the connections in the system that bind us all together
They experience life more abundantly
And they are able to communicate what they have lived in an extraordinary beautiful and eloquent way.
I have known Jen since she was a student applying to continue graduate studies. At that time, I was a Quality Manager at Ford, and we were co-conspirators on a committee to create a joint innovation conference. In the process of establishing a successful conference, I discovered Jen the poet, and she found in me an appreciative audience for her amazing talent. She has been kind enough to stay in-touch and share her work with me over the years.
Dear reader, you will find what Jen feels resonates with us all. In addition to her poems, which she has published in a number of periodicals, she is the author of several books written for the child in all of us. A real treat awaits you, enjoy!
