The impact we have on others can be calculated or serendipitous, superficial or profound, but is never isolated. That butterfly beating its wings in that South American rain forest is you and I.

    This book is a collection of poems about love and loss; the joys of romance and the anguish of loneliness and self-doubt. These poems probe our humanity. When the time comes, the question becomes-will we know how to respond?
