      September 11, 2001

      On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the United States by commandeering four major airliners. These attacks resulted in dropping the World Trade Center in New York City, destroying a chunk of the Pentagon, and nose-diving a plane into a field in Pennsylvania. This event plummeted an already struggling economy into a virtual standstill.

      However, three weeks following the disaster it was reported on television and radio, that surprisingly, there were three business entities still thriving amid the financial chaos. They were coin dealers, chocolatiers, and personal service businesses like beauty, hair, nail salons, massage therapists.
