About this ebook

“RAW” is a collection of poetry written to, for the most part, relate to a general audience. A realistic audience. Has not every person been broken or hurt in one way or another? I feel your pain and I want you to know you are not alone. Just like there are happy poems and sad poems in this book, life is full of happy moments and sad moments.
We will all smile and we will all cry before our time on earth is over. My desire for you is that you will cherish every moment. Life is for living.
Live in the joyful moments. Smile, laugh, and love with all you have.
Live in the despairing moments. Weep, shake, and survive to see the happy times again.
Just like there will always be sadness in life, there will also always be happiness. They are unavoidable and one cannot exist without the other.

Thank you, dear readers, for all of your support.

    Untitled #1

Are we so oppressed that we can’t speak?

Is the silence too thick to see through?

Why are we shuffling in this loop?

I dare not raise an angry fist

    Or cry discontent.

    In a misery-addicted world,

Where is the hope for change, resonant?

Many fools love hesitantly, and fear provocatively.

Wake up and stand, you squeamish people!

    Relentlessly our minds toil-

    Spinning out of control.

Schemes are the foundation of a damned culture.

Society has no civility amongst us anymore.

Geography is a failed concept if we but connect-

Reach out and hold the open hands waiting.

Is peace too dead to resurrect?

    Surely…

Surely we are not beyond the turning point.
