"In The Garden With Daddy" was a dream I had shortly after my father's passing. I almost didn't include it because it was so personal. After some soul-searching, I decided to include it in the book. I thought others who may have lost a parent early in life might find some comfort in it or maybe stir memories of their own. I wrote An Angel's Lullaby for my three children, who are now parents themselves. Remember The Memories is a poem I wrote from my mother's perspective after my daughter was born. She would often reflect on her memories when my brother and I were small, as my children spoke their first words or took their first steps. Summer Lane, Silence Within The Storm, Silver Dreams, and Winds of Change, to name a few, were poems written between the ages of eleven and fifteen. I wrote the remaining poems later in life, expressing my opinions, views, and experiences.view less
