Standing in Prayer for the World book three came into existence within the two year period I was waiting to get Standing in Prayer for the World Book Two, published. Book three is also a random reflection. It was in the final process when the most recent Church crises exploded; part of my random reflections and prayers on the crises found expressions in the Stations of the Cross highlighted in this book. The book challenges us to stand strong in our faith in the midst of crises in the world, church and family. Let no one use the confusion of the time to find excuses for not standing on the rock that never fails – Jesus. No matter your choice, good or bad, one thing is sure, we shall all die and stand before the Lord.

Book three is also a random reflection I was encouraged to share. It was in the final process when the most recent Church crises exploded; part of my random reflections and prayers on the crises found expressions in the Stations of the Cross highlighted in this book. The book challenges us to stand strong in our faith in the midst of crises in the world, Church and family. Let no one use the confusion of the time to find excuses for not standing firm on the rock that never fails – Jesus. No matter your choice, good or bad, one thing is sure, we shall all die and stand before the Lord. I pray that you will make a good choice while your earthly life runs; I also pray that the Lord will enrich your life personally and as a group through this simple random prayers and reflections.

HOUR OF PRAYER UNDER

THE CONTROL OF JESUS

I offer this moment of prayer and all the moments of my life to you dear Lord and pray that you harvest all the glory, thanksgiving honor, praise and adoration. I commit this period of prayer under your power and control dear Lord. I pray that nothing will hemorrhage, compete or steal any part of this prayer period due to you my God.

I surrender to your power dear Lord, all the distractions and anything that competes with this period of prayer. I subdue and subject any negative and distractive power to the authority and power of Jesus –Amen!

A PRAYER FOR THIS DAY

Lord, we commend ourselves and our activities of this day into your power and authority. O God, thank you for new opportunities wrapped in the mystery of this day. May your presence be with us this day and may we never offend you this day.

O God:

• Give us the protection and safety we need this day.

• Provide the strength and insight we need this day.

• And appreciation of the mystery of this day in various forms.

• Sharpen our skills to provide solution to the problems of this day.

• Provide wisdom for the challenges of this day.

• Direct our energy and activities aright this day.

• Rejuvenate us with a sense of accomplishment and peace this day.

• Cloth us with expression of gratitude that every good thing, big and small we have encountered this day are gifts from you, and what we have done well started and ended with you this day.

• Give us the humility to leave the remaining challenges and struggles of this day in your hands.

• Replenish our energy (prayer, joy, team work, laughter, charity, etc.), and faith to unravel the mystery in store for us knowing that your unfailing support is always with us this day - Amen.

GOOD MORNING FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT

GOOD MORNING JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH!

I wake up today in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

I raise my whole being today in appreciation and thanksgiving to God who created me for His honor and pleasure.

I kneel to plead the blood of Jesus to blot away my sin and those of the whole world.

I prostrate to ask for healing for me and for the sick.

I arise to bring the needs of those who ask for my prayers and the needs of the world to our God.

I lift humanity to God for conscientization, mercy and blessing.

Bless us, O Lord and let your glory shine in our life today and every moment of our life.

I stand today, in the name of Jesus, to plead for heavenly clothing, fortification, and protection over me and the children of God.

I plead, in the name of Jesus, for the assistance of heavenly warriors - saints and angels.

I arise today, in the name of Jesus, to ask for heavenly weaponry to ward off and destroy all the evil darts and arrows floating and prying any time of the day or night to harm us and all the plagury and pestiferous beings or things fluttering in the day or night (Psalm 95:5).

I kneel today, in the name of Jesus, to ask the fire from heaven to burn all the shrines, voodoo, juju houses and places that target me and the children of God.

I stand today, in the name of Jesus, to shatter all the mirrors, monitors and any instrument targeted against me and God’s servants and handmaids.

I arise today, in the name of Jesus, to take power and authority over any beings or things anywhere warring against me and all the sons and daughters of God.

I cry today, in the name of Jesus, to bring to captive under the cross of Jesus, all beings or things anywhere holding us in captivity.

I stand with the strength of God to empower and support me,

The wisdom of God to guide and direct me,

The presence of God to abide with me,

The providence of God to sustain me,

The love of God to enfold me,

The mercy of God to envelop me,

The army of God to shield me,

The watchful eyes of God to protect me,

The strong arm of God to uphold me,

The grace of God to preserve me,

The healing power of God to renew me

The Blood of Jesus to save me – Amen

My God be in the East, West, North, and South. God is the authority and always in charge of me and all that concerns me – Amen.

I make my prayers in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit- Amen.
