    Prologue

Atlanta Georgia, October 16th, 2017 was the day I saw him again.

He attended Whitson High School. Well actually we both did, it was one of the bigger and most popular high schools in Atlanta.

The private type of high school where you had to wear the anime type of uniforms, students hated it and protested it but the school board said students didn't have to attend this school if they didn't like the uniforms. I never minded the uniforms; they didn't bother me.

But anyhow Whitson High had the population of 3 to 4 thousand students and this school is not only where I became HIS friend, but it's also where I became his accomplice and eventually fell in love with him.

His name was Jaden, Jaden Black and I'm gonna tell you the story on how we met and how a single student not only changed my life but the entire school itself within a single year.

This is (Jaden & Jasmine: The Curse of Deception) Book I

    Chapter 1

    Jaden

Now I know what you're thinking (What the hell was that, you call that prologue. I spend $10 on this bullshit.) Hey chill this book is long as fuck so just bare with me and keep reading.

Now anyways I didn't meet Jaden on the first day of school, I knew of him but we didn't actually speak to each other until later throughout the year. But from what I know now and from what others told me about Jaden Black was that he was a student quite like no other.

And to be honest that statement was actually true Jaden was smarter and highly intelligent than most students and even some teachers. But I would go as far as to say that he was smarter than the whole United States Government board. After you know becoming our high school principal in all. I still can't believe he pulled that off.

But anyways I'm talking too much I'll just let you read the rest of the story from HIS point of view. My name is Jasmine by the way, Jasmine Miles. I'm sure you'll get to know me better throughout the story. But yeah I said I'll shut up so I'll do just that, enjoy the story.

Whitson High School, October 17th, 2017 before the era of wearing masks.

Mr. Strange: Jaden shouldn't you be doing your assignment? (Joseph Strange - English teacher at Whitson High School.)

    Jaden: I finished it already.

Mr. Strange then looked around the classroom before looking back at Jaden.

Mr. Strange: How when I JUST handed the assignment out less than 10 minutes ago.

Jaden: Yeah and less than 10 minutes was more than enough time for me to complete it, it wasn't that hard Mr. Strange. (Mr. Strange is also a reference to a real life friend the author of this book knows in real life.)

Jaden then looked at Mr. Strange while grabbing his backpack and getting up from his student desk.

Mr. Strange: Where are you going? I'm sure you have other class work or assignments you could be doing Jaden.

Jaden: Nope I already DID all the assignments for ALL my classes up until the next semester.

Mr. Strange: But we're not even in the middle of THIS semester. How did you have the time to get all of your assignments done?

Jaden: Well it wasn't easy I can tell you that.

Jaden then thought to himself for a moment before saying.

Jaden: Well then again for me it was a little easy.

Mr. Strange just looked at him in a weird and confusing way.

Jaden: May I go get a drink of water since I have nothing to do.

Mr. Strange: Uh yea- sure just don't forget the-

    Jaden: Hall-pass, yes I know.

Jaden smiles as he then gets up and leaves the classroom. As he heads to the bathroom, he notices his high school principal leaving her office.

Jaden: Lucky bastard, she has one of the easiest jobs in the world, shit if I were principal l would use the intercom and announce that-

Jaden then stopped himself and looked around before heading towards the principal's office.

    Jaden: I have an idea.

Jaden then entered the principal's office not realizing he was being watched by someone from a distance.

Inside the principal's office Jaden looked around for a moment before noticing the morning announcement intercom on the principal's desk. Jaden quickly walked towards it and realized whatever he was about to do, he had to do it quickly.

He then turned on the intercom then cleared his throat before saying.

Jaden: My name is Jaden, Jaden Black I am a student here at Whitson High School.

Everyone in the school either turned towards the intercom speaker in the classrooms or just listened to whatever Jaden was saying.

Aurora: What the hell is Jaden doing? (Aurora Gram - student at Whitson High School.)

But before Jaden could even say what he intentionally was going to say, the principal came rushing back into her office.

Principal Karen: What in god's name are you doing kid?  (Principal Karen - Principal of Whitson High School.)

Jaden then looked at her while he picked out his Afro a bit before responding back.

Jaden: The name Jaden Black Principal Karen.

Principal Karen then turned off the intercom, shutting down whatever Jaden was about to say to the school, Jaden looked at her while reaching for something under his shirt connected to his waist.

Principal Karen: l don't care what your name is kid, what is your problem why aren't you in class?

Jaden then looked at her removing his hand from under his shirt.

Jaden: I was actually looking for you Principal Karen, figure I jump on the intercom here and try to contact you.

Principal Karen then looked at Jaden.

Jaden: You didn't have to come rushing in here like a crazy woman on the street, but I know how you Karen's are. It's simply in your nature you can't help it.

Principal Karen: I don't care kid GET OUT of my office and GO BACK TO CLASS.

Jaden: Yes ma'am you don't have to tell me twice.

Jaden then left the principal's office, but once he got into the hallway he spazzed out.

Jaden: Fuck, what the fuck was I thinking. Why the hell did I reach for my gun under my shirt?

But Jaden knew the reason, it was his curse acting up again, wanting him to kill.

    Jaden: Ugh.

"Jaden quickly looked around the hallway trying to see if there were any students or teachers around, before he removed the gun
