CHAPTER 1

November 8th, 2018

Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Noah’s mansion inside his recording studio.

Famous video game designer Noah White finds himself sitting inside his mansion arguing with his assistant over music he’s trying to create. She believes music isn't his cup of tea and he should focus on making video games. But Noah wants to try something new and won’t take no for an answer.

Noah- Okay Brianna you wanna play that last part for me again.

Brianna- Okay.

She then pushes play again on Noah's laptop as he listened to his verse on a song he’s working on.

Noah- Shit, I know I fucked up. I think I might have to do the verse again, what do you think?

Brianna- No offense Noah but you kinda suck at rapping.

Noah- Hey shut up Brianna like you can do any better. 

Brianna- I know I can’t, but you're a videogame designer not a rapper, you don’t rap.

Noah- I’m trying something new.

Brianna- Whatever, what you need to be doing is try to make another video game.

Noah- Yeah yeah whatever just replay the track for me please.

Brianna then replayed the track back as Noah rocked his head back and forward towards the beat he was hearing through his headphones.

Noah- Yeah I think on this verse I'm going to have to be more serious with it because of the way the beat drops. 

Brianna- Okay so you want me to start it over.

Noah- No not all the way, just from the when the hook comes in.

Brianna then hit play again and watched Noah redo his verse.

Noah- "Look, AR and a AK homicidal foreplay

Please don't fuck with mine

I'll turn your life into a cold case." 

Once again Noah finished his verse for the song but still didn't get it right or the way he wanted it.

Noah- Ughh.

Brianna- Noah what are you getting upset about. I think this verse sounds better than your last verse, you should keep it.

Noah- But I don't want to either, it sounds like crap.

Brianna- Duh all your songs do, you know your not a-

Noah- Yeah I'm not a real rapper. I know I get it you don’t have to remind me.

Brianna- Yeah.

Noah- But still why can't one of my songs be good enough for you.

Brianna- Because Noah you are NOT a rapper, and this is not your field of work. You're a fucking game designer that's what you do, you design games that's all.

Noah- Yeah but still.

Brianna- Yeah but still nothing Noah, you don't realize that you have the number one game that's out right now. It sold more than that Boys Without Hair video game.

Noah- Yeah A Curse to Kill is a pretty sick video game. I didn't think it would have sold 1 million copies in just one hour in the U.S alone.

Brianna- Yeah and you're sitting here trying to rap when you have a shit ton of money and you're not even doing anything with it.

Noah- Money isn't everything you know.

Brianna- Yeah to you, but to some people like myself. Money is everything, I mean look at my best friend Paige she's in college working two jobs and she asked you for a $100 loan and you couldn't even do that.

Noah- Oh umm well for the record I thought she liked me. 

Brianna- Bullshit I liked you and you knew that.
