About this ebook
Bob Woodward, international best-selling author of Fear: Trump in the White House, delivers yet another explosive and revelatory—if not disturbing—picture of Trump's presidency in his new book, Rage. Its contents span the past seven months, detailing how the White House dealt with the crises that plagued 2020. With over a dozen on-the-record interviews directly with Trump, supported by calendars, diaries, and statements by the people closest to him in his administration, Woodward narrates in detail the happenings inside the oval office as a presidential staff reported about the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic to Trump. It also covers how the President's sentiments and actions further aggravated the economic turmoil, racial unrest, national security risks, and diplomatic relationship with Russia and North Korea.
While falling far behind Fear: Trump in the White House in terms of debut sales, Rage still sold a staggering number of copies at over 600,000 in its first week and is now into its fourth printing by publisher Simon & Schuster.

Introducing Rage
Bob Woodward's Rage is among the dozens of books published about Donald J. Trump during his presidency, but what sets it apart is that it's not only another journalistic report. It's one shaped primarily by phone conversations—eighteen in total—that Trump permitted Woodward to record against White House staff's advice. Through these recordings and interviews with officials whom Trump encouraged to participate in Woodward's biography of him, readers learn that Trump dismissed fervent warnings that the COVID-19 pandemic could be as bad—if not worse—than the 1918 Spanish Flu. In many of his speeches and tweets, he downplays the severity of the pandemic to save his public image. The access he nonchalantly gave Woodward, among the many absurd things he's uttered and done since being elected as president, has led his Cabinet members to deride him as apathetic, narcissistic, and foolish at best.
His natural inclination to refuse accountability for wrongs and to boast about his trivial genius
and successes had inevitably led his former chief of staff, John Kelly, to describe him as an idiot.
Kelly is not the only one; Trump's other officials have also denounced his behavior as a mockery of our Constitution
and made many more unflattering remarks about him out of anger and
