About this ebook

What do you do when you're sent to a hospital you've never heard of?

Melissa and Nancy decided to go there to work as volunteers. The hospital St Mary is located in the Lynch town, out of the city. They thought they were going to have less work to do and more time to dedicate themselves to every patient. But one night, Nancy wakes up and goes to a part inside the hospital that didn't exist, finding out just a little bit of the horrifying truth. But by the time when they figure everything out there, it'll be too late, because Melissa will remain inside a sanatorium, without being able to talk, because they might still be around her.

    Ghosts Of Sant Mary

-So, your name is Melissa, nice to meet you, I am the Dr. Osborn. I am a psychiatrist and a...

-(No, they are not hear, they can’t hear me, I am saying nothing... )

-I am your friend, Melissa. I want to know what happened there.

    -...

    -Where is Nancy?

-(She is... With them, he can’t understand... I will say nothing, I feel... )

-Melissa, I am not going to hurt you, I just want to know more about you.

-(I feel them, I feel they are with me, and they won’t leave me alone anymore)

    -Melissa? Melissa look at me

-(I am completely in silence, they don’t hear me, I will be okay if they don’t hear me)

-Dr. Osborn, come with me please –said someone out of the room where Melissa was kept.

-I... -Said Dr. Osborn-, it might take a while, look at her glance, it’s like she’s staring at someone.

-(They... They... I am in silence, please leave me).

-Did you receive the letter? –Nancy asked me.

-Yes, such a shame, isn’t it? –I asked.

-Yes, of course. But well, it’s our job, after all. It might do us some good to change our environment.

-I know, it’ll be good. But, did they tell you something before this? Everything seemed perfect. It actually struck me yesterday when I received this letter.

Inside the letters there was a huge message:

"Due to the recent events and the lack of personal, we are forced to send you the Saint Mary’s hospital in order to stay there as volunteers and help the personal. This hospital will be closed in a few days. All of your belonging will be sent to your house. Excuse us for the bad news.

    Dana"

-My belongings arrived today. Poor Dana, I don’t know where she’s going to go now, I think she didn’t have a job –said Nancy.

-That’s true. I tried to contact her but she didn’t answer my calls.

-She didn’t answer mine either. In any case, do you know where this hospital is? It’s the very first time I hear of it.

-As far as I know, it’s out of this city, in a sort of old town, but that’s the only thing I know about it. It was my grandfather who told me about this a long time ago, before he died.

Nancy and I were sent to this hospital I have never heard of. At first, I thought it was unfair but, beyond that, it was our duty to go there, no matter what. We were worked as nurses since years ago, we were prepared for that and that’s what we wanted to do for the rest of our lives; to help people.

Nancy arrived really early in the morning and we were in our kitchen drinking some coffee before planning our departure. Nancy lived with his mother but I lived alone. So we sat on the sofa.

-There’s nothing else you know about this place? –I asked.

-No, nothing else. Surely they are sending us because that hospital is in the same condition but they can continue after all.

-Yeah, you might be right. Let me look for my laptop to investigate how we can go there; we shouldn’t lose time.

I went up for my laptop and I saw all of my things, what I used in what it’s now my old hospital. My clothes, my tools, even a little toy that Nathan, a patient I used to take care of, gave me before he left again with his family. I think I will miss that. When I came down Nancy told me:

-I tried to remember where else have I heard about that name, but as far as I know, it has been hidden, or something like that. Maybe it’s a small hospital just for that town. Knowing we are here, in the city, it wouldn’t care that much.

-I think it will do us some good to stay there, with less job, I prefer that sometimes, to be honest. It’s less work but I can dedicate more to every patient. In this way it’s less stressful I think.

    -Yeah, for me too.

Nancy started typing the name of the hospital, but she spent around 10 minutes looking for some website. She struggled a lot to find information. At length, she came up just with one article about it.

-It says it’s a hospital located in the Lynch town. But this
