There are some mistakes that weigh a person down more than others. Alonzo has committed many of these sins that have distanced him from his wife, Cora. Overcome with grief, he repents on his knees and promises to make amends for his actions. While looking for a solution that will prevent the mistake from ever happening again, he comes across information about a ritual that could solve all his problems. It’s called the Love Psalm and it can erase the events and consequences of the past as if they never happened. Alonzo seeks a mystic who can do this for him, and she shows him his current Love Psalm. Waving her hands around two dolls on the table between them, the featureless dolls take the appearance of Alonzo and his wife who start to sing and move around in abnormal ways.
