Story 1
There was once a boy who grew up in a family that could barely take care of him. The stress got to his family every now and then to the point where they took out their frustrations on him. The bruises and abuses he took made him almost take his life. He wanted to help people to love and be loved, but he couldn’t even help himself. There was no hope for him in sight though there was this strange light that always seemed to shine in his eyes. He didn’t understand why this light always bothered him, so he just ignored it.
The devil tempted him with a way out, and with no other option in his sight, he took it as he ran away from home. Under the devil’s leadership, the boy hurt and stole from the people that owed debts to the Father of Lies. He was one of the most effective human debt collectors and most ruthless. His victims were broken after he dealt with them both physically and mentally. People were blinded, handicapped, and mentally broken if everything they had and adore wasn’t forcibly taken away from them. The strange light that bothered him before kept shinning in his eyes during these days, but he never understood it. He felt hatred towards this light and tried blocking it out every time it shined in his eyes.
The boy didn’t mind doing this job even if it did disfigure him. His sins paled his skin, his eyes reddened, and the blood that flowed in his veins blackened. He didn’t mind these changes because he was finally happy now that he was making a difference in the world. The boy had many friends and worldly possessions, however, he felt like something was missing from his life. After half a year passed, he learned that he was hurting innocent people. This was made known to him when he went after a mother and her child. The mother protected the child as a mother should to the shock of the boy. He had never known that this is what a mother is supposed to do and questioned her about it. She enlightened him about what was right and wrong, which made him regret everything he did.
For the rest of the year, he helped the people he hurt including the people he hated. He did this while living in a cold house that no one lived in while eating scraps. Everything he did was to make reparations for what he did. This half of year was penance for him and he suffered and cried
