Moments Finding Peace Book 2 - Christine Bojahra
Introduction
Taking time for these moments can help you find perfect peace. We all long for peace. Life is so full of dangers and pitfalls in both the physical and spiritual realms. We all may find some peace in different ways and at different times. Sometimes it can take almost a lifetime to find the perfect peace that this book is all about. People are not always looking in the right places or in the right way. Many people think that they will find it when their life’s dreams have been fulfilled, such as marrying, having children, or getting the right job. Many think that money can give them peace, and it does to some extent prevent the everyday worries of existence. But money cannot buy peace since it often comes with much anxiety, such as where to keep it safely, or cares and decisions that have to be made about it. It always leads to wanting more. It cannot buy health or the perfect peace that this book is all about.
A Moment of Waiting
Waiting is one of the hardest things that we do. We spend a very large portion of our waking hours waiting. Often the waiting is self induced such as when we say Oh I just can’t wait until Tuesday when I go to visit my friend
or some such event. We cause ourselves untold anxiety by doing this. We cannot find peace in the moment if we are always hurrying on to the next. But one kind of waiting does bring peace
This poem was inspired by the scripture Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faint
These verses are the favourite of many, because they hold so much hope. So many times in our lives we are stretched to hold onto our faith because things are not going
