About this ebook

Year 2200. Rich people were no longer interested in planet Earth. They thanked it and then started looking for a younger and more promising planet - they still wanted to get everything out of life - the planet had to be fully consistent with these criteria. When the settlers found a new homeland, they remade it. They took all the best from the planet Earth and spent money on creating their world. They started to develop the territory as tourists, but then they documented its existence because they had to divide the rights to its land among themselves. While everyone was working on the project, the globe lost its power, and a new order of government was appointed. Dual power was organized, laws were rewritten, and presidential elections were held on two planets. The Golden planet was the ruling one. Earth was made a donor - it supplied the new world with resources.

Chapter 1

The year 2200.

Within a few years, the elite all had moved. Recruitment agencies immediately opened up and began recruiting staff to work on the main planet. The candidates were put through the rigorous selection process for all positions: from waiters to middle managers. The most successful employees stayed in their new job forever. Soon, it became a dream for all educated earthlings. Earthlings joked that they would be happy to breathe new air, even cleaning up dirty dishes for the leaders of the Universe. To that end, many people tried to get different awards and degrees, passed several olympiads, and then they were guaranteed starting positions everywhere. The planet Earth stopped developing: the best personnel left, funding was turned to the new planet as much as possible, the environment was at a very poor level and the population had many chronic diseases.

The planet was gradually mired in an economic, environmental, scientific, and industrial crisis.

The most popular magazine of the old mother country was the publication about the life of the Golden planet. It published articles about the people who moved and lived in a new world. Many wealthy people were not known to anyone before moving. Now the earthlings have read about what they eat and what they watch in the movies.

The Golden planet began to set the fashion for clothing, architecture, music, and even science.

Earth's financial flows depended on the companies' contracts with the new planet. The settlers ordered equipment, medicines, some construction materials, some fuel, and other things for themselves. The only things they didn't order were food, clothing, jewelry, and household goods.

The population of the Golden planet aspired to natural sources of life - houses were built of wood and stone, roads were paved with granite and there was not a single meter of asphalt, dishes in the house and furniture were made from natural materials by hand. In general, the new elite has set up a very comfortable way of life.

Only the office buildings were multi-storied. The local University stretched over several square kilometers, and its teachers were considered the most qualified professors in the Universe. There were no high-speed roads, nor were there any high-speed cars. Residents moved by solar-battery powered transport.

It's all too
