Are The Walls Alive - Nimrad Robinson

    Chapter 1

ARIEL, CEDRIC AND GARRY approached the young women and proceeded to introduce themselves.

CEDRIC : SORRY FOR our bad manners, these are my friends Ariel and Garry. I’m Cedric by the way, hope you got our names?

TESSA : I’M SURE WE got them, Cedric, Ariel and Garry right?

ARIEL : JACKPOT! AND yours are?

THE THREE WOMEN LOOKED at each other and smiled almost in a coordinated fashion.

TESSA : WELL THESE are my friends Stacey and Nikita, I’m Tessa by the way.

ARIEL, CEDRIC & GARRY : Nice to meet you Nikita, Stacey and Tessa.

THERE WERE GIGGLES and laughter all around from both parties. Looking at them now but knowing their names the three men took time inbetween to have a good look at the women. Stacey was the taller one of the three with dark brown eyes, long black hair, slender build with a very friendly smile. Nikita was average height with jet black hair, hazel eyes, striking facial features and an athletic physique. Tessa was the shorter one of the three, frizzy/curly dark brown hair, brown eyes, dimples, a very welcoming smile and well rounded curves. Regardless of their differences in appearance there was no denying how aesthetic they all looked collectively. As if they had finished the profiling stage, the young women led the young men back to their camp site.

AS THEY WALKED BACK they engaged in light conversations about nature and outdoors even stopping every now and then to appreciate the views offered. The three men looked at each other and smiled but deep down they still thought about what had happened back at the other campsite. What happened to the men they had beat down after they left? What if they came looking for them and found them? Would Tessa , Nikita and Stacey be in any danger being around them? The endless questions and possibilities played out in their minds as they walked on. They hoped that everything would go smoothly and no-one would find themself in imminent danger at any point.

BACK AT THE OTHER CAMP site one of the three men that Ariel, Cedric and Garry had beaten was coming back around. He opened his eyes and was almost blinded by the rays of light streaking through the leaves. He rolled over on his side and tried to stand up from that angle. A sharp pain shot to his head as he did so making him groan and shriek in pain. With that the strength to get up left his body and he fell back in the dirt . Groaning and running his fingers over his face to check for blood or cuts, he found none. But he did manage to find a spot that seemed to hurt and radiate a little more heat than usual. It was above his temple and as he massaged it he remembered what had happened earlier.

IN AN INSTANT HE SAT up, looked around and saw his two colleagues still passed out. He gathered all the strength he still had left in him and approached one of them.
