My True Business Story - Israel Musaasizi
My True Business Story
INTRODUCTION
Starting a business could be very stressful in many ways should it be approached without first calculating the whole attempt and by failing to do so, disappointments are bound to occur leaving souls devastated. This is a journey that requires a large amount of faith and trusting that everything would turn out to be the best therefore taking such a risk with doubt then the best thing is to hang in there and wait until you are ready.
Although taking a risk in life is a very powerful element whereby giving it a try not knowing whether it would turn out positive or otherwise, is a very productive way of keeping you growing without remaining stagnant in what many would call comfort zone. Indeed many have tried starting businesses and just within a short time they have crushed instead of becoming a success as planned, but this hasn’t stopped some of them from trying again and again until some day it turns out successful.
Most people have this perception that before you start a business you must have completed a degree in accounting, book keeping, management and all many others as they assume. But the actual fact is that you don’t necessarily need all the above but only wisdom and with this you are able to achieve all that even your mind has never dreamt of.
Knowing how to handle a business require common knowledge, self discipline, self control, sense of humour, humility as well as more as we will learn as we walk together through the steps explained in my book. Following these steps carefully will not only give you knowledge of how to start, maintain and grow your business but will also help you work through personal issues in your live, which in most cases hinder the chance of taking risks to start anything, maintain it and make profit out of it.
Chapter 1 is a brief introduction of me as a successful business man who started from nothing and in a matter of no time, able to make it just by following the steps as I have explained in this book. The steps are quite simple and easy to apply and after you are well equipped, you could be able to equip others who are in the same situation as you at the moment.
Chapter 2 explains how to succeed in business through the easy step of being able to discover your personal identity which requires you to know who you are, learning to trust and be trusted by others and how important it is in business, being disciplined in areas of finance as well as competition, knowing the importance of giving, how to invest as well using and creating ideas.
Chapter 3 will help you understand that it is not necessary to achieve qualification that you might even end up not using simply because the peer pressure out there wouldn’t allow you to do things at your own pace. It shows you how it surely doesn’t matter whether you are educated or not but you can still turn out to be somebody just by using what you know and with time gaining more experience.
Chapter 4 basically talks about the daily challenges we go through when we are employed and how hopeless we feel including the way we are treated as slaves at work whereby our effort is never appreciated nor even recognised by the management.
Chapter 5 is when you reach the stage when you start having the passion to leave wherever you are employed ad get out there to start your own business. This is when you actually discover who you are and starting to have faith in the positive that whatever you do could turn out to be successful.
Chapter 6 gets you to a place where your passion is attacked by all kind of force and the chapter actually gives you an idea of what goes on inside your body and how to conquer your thought which wage war against your soul. We also see how you could be attacked by things externally and therefore giving you solutions as well as how to patient and not to panic.
Chapter 7 makes us realize how tough this whole adventure is and therefore try to give up and choose to go back to your job where at least you had a fixed salary, company benefits like a car and a house as well as pension even though you had a boss.
Chapter 8 reminds you of the dark wall behind you whereby even if you wanted to go back to that life, there are many thing things which must be considered before wasting all that time and money invested in the business.
Chapter 9 is when you reach that stage when you actually make peace with yourself and having learned how to handle all these challenges, you are able to deal with anything that comes your way. All the experience that you gain through all the tough times turns you into a strong person who stands against anything in life.
Chapter 10 concludes by encouraging you to unite with other small businesses in order to have exposure in business and also to be able to network with others, learning what is happening out there and reach out to those in need of your skill.
This book contains a wealth of knowledge that is capable of creating jobs to a level whereby only a small percentage of the population needs to go out for job hunting. This book is essential for anyone interested in the next generation of millionaires’ development. Whether your background is illiterate, poor or streetwise, knowledge in this book will enable you to rapidly start, manage, maintain and grow businesses of today and tomorrow.
Chapter 1: My True Business Story
Israel Musaasizi
An ordinary young man just like any other person out there on the streets, average education and living an ordinary life, have managed to shift my financial profile from zero to hero. There is nothing fancy applied in order to achieve that other than following the basic steps of life guided by life mentors as well as experience, learning each and every day that life isn’t all about having fun and doing what pleases us but being disciplined and having principles as an individual.
a) SHORT PREVIEW OF MY BUSINESS LIFE
Being a six months old infant, under the care of my beloved mother who was abandoned with eleven other older children by a husband, it was really tough for her.
I am the last born of twelve by the same parents and to be honest; from the stories I heard our father was a very responsible man of one wife. Well, though later he met someone whom to me seems like he found the love of his life. I am not saying he never loved our mother, but having married in their teens through arrangement, I strongly believe my father was not mature enough to settle down and to truly understand what love was.
Our mother on the other hand, she fell in love with her first love. I mean they say, A woman falls in love with her first love but a man with his last
. Anyway, he met this woman who also had seven kids with him which led the whole big family to division.
Back to me and my infancy at that time, can you believe our father actually sold the home I the city where we were all raised, well, born and my siblings rose without my mother’s knowledge? I can’t say men are wicked because I am one of them, but that broke my mother’s until to this very day.
By the way, am originally from Uganda, raised in Kenya but travelling in and out of the country with one of my elder brothers, whom my mother gave custody to raise me from the age of six months.
Should I take you back to the sold house for a few seconds, the whole family scattered. The new owner showed up from nowhere at the door with documents signed by our father months ago. We are now talking about a few weeks left for the notice of agreement to expire.
He left months ago and he is where to be found. Anyway, family scattered, furniture outside on the street with a new born baby.
Luckily my first five siblings had moved out and were independent. This led them to sharing the furniture including us the younger siblings. You know, when my mother tells you this story tears flow out of her eyes but not with anger though, she is quite a forgiving woman and I love her dearly.
Back to me and my custody to my brother, he took over and raised a very responsible young man who learnt to be independent and creative at the same time. My brother got married, the wife moved in, but I’m sure they had some kind of arrangement concerning this little baby who needs to be raised, I don’t know about that. Anyway, she raised me well even though there were some ups and downs which I won’t go much into details, but
