- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I knew nothing of Syd and Shea McGee before I picked up Make Life Beautiful. Having read this autobiography which covers from their college days up until present day (2020), they now feel like new friends who invited me into their social circle and shared their story. Their journey held my attention as they experienced seasons of joy, times of disappointment, and everything in between. While Syd and Shea Mcgee share about their business and Shea’s designs, it is primarily an autobiography. There are some embedded principles, but it is not a how-to or self-help book. I think the book needed a photo section, especially since so much of Shea’s story includes her designs. I recommend Make Life Beautiful by Syd and Shea McGee to any of their fans interested in learning about this couple.Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this product via the Amazon Vine program.
