Award-winning artist, Peter Underhill has been working closely with Susan Ryder of Heritage Crafts for over 20 years with Susan converting Peter’s art into cross stitch to create ranges such as Crazy Cat Lady, Cats Rule!, and Little Darlings, as well as Golden Years.
Tell us about your early years
I inherited my father’s natural drawing ability. I attended North Warks College where I did a Foundation year before opting for a fledgling Graphic Design Diploma Course. During those two years, I met Dawn, who became my wife in 1983. We live in Leicestershire, with our adult son, Lewis.
