About The Author

Full names, Airhuoyuwa Andrew Diamond Omoregie, but somehow teachers in his Primary School were having problem pronouncing his first name at the end it was abbreviated to Airhuoyo which in English means "You don't have to be proud of it. He is from Benin City, Nigeria. Born to Mr and Mrs Omoregie Erhabor, a family of twelve, four girls and eight boys, his father of blessed memory was a polygamist. Growing up in a polygamous home was enough lessons that prepared him for what he is today. Though his father had wanted him to read law, young Andy opted for Graphics Arts, a profession he cherished most.

In Nigeria, he worked with the Nigerian Observer Newspapers and Guardian Newspapers as a cartoonist. Later he edited and published a monthly magazine called relaxation. 

He made history in 1986, when he became one of Nigeria’s youngest publishers with his publication, Relaxation. Famous for his cartoon strips, JANDO in The Nigerian Observer Newspapers (1987-1989). Co-produced DANTA with Ace Cartoonist, Cliff Ogiugo for Guardian Newspapers (1990). He had a breakthrough in journalism when he became the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Splash Magazine.

First I want to thank all my loved ones and friends all over the world who have supported everything I have done throughout my career right from Nigeria when I began as a cartoonist. May God continue to protect and bless you all. Most of you guys know my story and how it all started. If this is the first time you are knowing me, I pray and hope you embrace and accept me for who I am and what I represent. 

By writing this book, I am not claiming to be an expert on the subject of success rather I am on a personal journey myself and I thought it would be a great idea to share some of my thoughts and lessons with you. This book contains impressionable life lessons and examples that will undoubtedly impact your life as they did mine. 

This book is filled with real-life stories of courage, leadership, wisdom and love. A must-read for all young people. Our world is a better place because of the choices each of these people made in their life journey.

During the course of my career, I found out there are many people out there who don't know what they want in life. I also discover that most people don't have passion for what they are doing and they are not living their life to the fullest. They go about as if the world owes them something. Like they say, Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end the faster it goes. Time waits for no one, so make full use of your precious time.

There will always come a time in a man’s life when you must ask yourself so many questions. Questions bothering on why you are still living in your present austere situation in spite of all the opportunities around you. When you have been endowed with the courageous heart of a lion but choose to live like a mouse? There must come a time of accountability, a time to look at yourself in the mirror and examine why you waste so much time on irrelevant things, why you consent to play small when you can play big. As a human, it’s normal to ask questions and to dissolve the beliefs and behaviour that have limited us. Come to think of it we hold the true evident that all men and women are created equal.

You and I must be free to express our true selves and pursue our dreams without restriction. We must improve how we interact with the world. It’s our right and duty to rise anew and embrace the path to greatness. 

In life, we all need encouragement; we all need something to look up to. We all need that fuel that will keep us going. That thing I am talking about is motivation and it serves one of the most important things in the life of every person. Motivation has successfully changed the lives of many people in this world. Motivations boost the level of self-esteem and courage of any person while accomplishing tough tasks and special goals. For those who want to become successful in life, motivation is the essential ingredients they need in other to succeed in life.

In life, we make a lot of choices. Some choices we will get right and some we will get wrong. The wrong choices we make come in form of mistakes and it is an important part of growing up and learning. Though some mistakes leave us feeling hurt and damaged, they shape and prepare us for greater things to come. Without mistakes, we will never learn. Life is about learning. To most people, they want to go through life without making mistakes or by making better choices. No matter how hard they try, they still can not avoid making it. We are human and will are not perfect, so mistakes will always rear its ugly head, True happiness comes when we learn to accept and deal with our mistakes.

We are all here on this earth for a purpose and sometimes it takes us a while to find out what that purpose is. Sometime and somewhere in life, we become frustrated and unhappy as a result of the obstacle we are going through. In life, it‘s important to understand that to move forward we must acknowledge that every adversity every struggle and tragedy is meant to be part of us. They are meant to teach us things about ourselves that we never knew.

Life is and always will be full of challenges, but the belief that they can be overcome with persistence, determination, and courage is essential to one’s wellbeing. Each person does have a contribution to make, and one’s mindset determines whether that contribution is positive and effective or negligible and wasted. 

Whether we like it or not, we are all different and it is what makes us who we are. Just imagine for once if we all look the same. Dress the same, think and speak the same, wouldn't life be boring. So you now know why God created us differently, some are skinny, some are chubby. You should never be afraid or ashamed about the way you look, talk, and sleep, eat, bathe, sing etc. And the most important thing, don’t change your appearance or feel ashamed for what you have. I am proud of whom I am and I give God the glory for making me so beautiful and I am proud to be associated with this book.

As the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of a magazine, I read a lot. Amongst the things I do and find interesting is reading personal development books, listening to inspiring audio programmes and writing motivational materials. Over the years I have built up quite a wealth of knowledge on the subject of motivation and personal development.
