"Something Real" is the story of Craig, a veteran struggling with PTSD that has lost his wife and friends due to his extreme paranoia. Living life watching his neighbors through the cameras around his house, he stumbles upon something about his neighbor that he just can't get out of his head. But the truth is even stranger than he thinks when he leaves his home to investigate what is going on in his neighbor's basement.

In "The Most Valuable Piece", originally published in the Scarlet Leaf Review, Jimmy and Richie, two small-time criminals plan the heist of an art museum in order to get revenge on an ex-girlfriend, and also to save Richie some public embarassment. They hatch the perfect plan, and all goes well, until Richie hears the unexpected from the artist. He must now choose if he wants to go through with his plan.

"Home Is Where The Heart Is" follows Joe, an older man that wants desperately to find his wife that he hasn't seen in years, but is struggling with the world not seeming the same as he remembered it. He meets a young woman, Deborah, who agrees to help him, but seems to know more about Joe and and his wife, Mildred, than she should. In this heartwarming tale of a man grappling with dementia, find out if Joe finds his wife and what details are uncovered.
