    The Kalimba with 17 tines

    The notes of a kalimba with 17 tines in C major. Including the corresponding numbers / symbols which are used in the book. This corresponds to the labeling of the tines on many common Kalimbas.

    The numbers marked with dots are each an octave higher. If the symbols are printed in bold, the associated tine is on the left side of the instrument.

    The tablature

    (1) Accompanying chords, for the kalimba in C major (2) Accompaniment - number / symbol of the tine according to the graphic above (3) Text, sung, determines the rhythm of the notes (4) Melody - number / symbol of the tines according to the graphic above

    Special symbols

    (1) Stroke over several reeds - the first symbol is the lowest note, the second symbol the highest note.

    (2) Play multiple tines at the same time - symbols with no spaces in between.
