    Introducing Acid for the Children

    Acid for the Children by Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist, Flea, is a narration of how Flea fell in love with music. It is also about his friendship with Red Hot Chili Peppers' frontman and co-founder, Anthony Kiedis. The book also contains his unique childhood experiences. He wrote about how he cried at an Ethiopian church because of the beautiful music he heard there. He also stated his enthusiasm for asserting his beliefs about his constant search to unite with the infinite spirit. He also tackled about his wants to surrender himself to the divine and cosmic music. The memoir, though, does not include rock and roll stories from Flea's band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, it focuses more on Flea's life before joining the band.

    Flea described his most unforgettable and memorable story back when he was still a child. He mentioned how happy he was when his maternal nana, Muriel Cheesewright, made him a beloved sweater. Flea talked about his growing up years and memories in Australia. He cited in his book a little about his father, who works at a consul in the government of New York City in 1967. His father took Flea and his mother to New York and started living an ordinary life in the suburbs. However, everything changed when Flea's mother left his father.
