About this ebook

Get the Summary of Seth Rogen's Yearbook in 20 minutes. Please note: This is a summary & not the original book. Original book introduction: Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”)

I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like. I also talk about some of my adventures in Los Angeles, and surely say things about other famous people that will create a wildly awkward conversation for me at a party one day.

    #2

One of the first lessons Rogen learned about comedy was that it wasn’t supposed to be about things that you liked. People wanted to hear about things you disliked, or wanted to change. For Rogen, he thought of his grandparents, whom he strongly disliked spending time with.

    #3

As Rogen began performing more stand-up routines, he saw the time he spent with his grandparents no longer as painful, but as potential comedy material. As the years went on, he gradually saw how much his grandparents loved him, and learned to love them just as
