About this ebook

We have held captive for centuries the release of the fourth generation. With what you are about to learn in this book, I pray that you will
take the lid off your potential to release and unleash the generations you possess. This book is an introduction to challenge us to have an intentional plan to raise our children, our grandchildren and great grandchildren and all who choose to be under influence in the Way they should go. God knows us before we
were in our mother’s womb, which means that they are in His heart first. We need to learn how to draw them out and release the
lineage of righteousness within us and thus His Kingdom.

    REFERENCES

I dedicate this book to Malakhi Joel Williams, my grandson, who is the first of my children’s children. You have opened the womb to the next generation, as I look forward to seeing you and all my children’s children set a platform for our lineage to continue building and establishing God’s Kingdom and His righteousness.

May you inspire and influence many to be channels of His glory.

    FOREWORD

Much wisdom is gained by reading this book. Many of the principles and practices in this book is experienced first-hand in the Williams family.

By being exposed to what is shared, our legacies will carry on through the ages. This book unravels the secrets to building your spiritual legacy that will impact generations to come. You can be a patriarch or matriarch like Abraham.

Read how righteousness is passed to the next generation. My prayer is that as you read this book, the Lord will cause you to disciple those close to you who in turn will disciple others also (2 Timothy 2:2). As one of my sons, Llewellyn is qualified to write on this subject as he practices what he preaches, and the results are evident.

I highly recommend this book to those who are serious to pass on the baton to the next generation.

    INTRODUCTION

It is common to call a man a father when he has a son or a daughter. However, many do not understand that our sons and daughters do not make us a father. They simply manifest what a man already possesses. We all have the seed of being a father from the moment we are birthed, given to us by the Father. This book is about establishing righteousness through fathering faithfully and effectively, as God the Father has placed it in us as His image. Each of us has a desire to have a heart as the Father. Hence our desire for more. The role of a father is not just to raise his children successfully, but to raise up his grandchildren and great-grandchildren until the release and unleashing of the fourth generation.

We all possess in our loins a lineage of righteousness. Too often, we have contained and restrained this lineage through bad choices, and as a result have continued in unrighteousness from generation to generation. To ‘release’, is to allow or enable to escape from confinement; to set free and to flow freely! To ‘unleash’ is to remove a leash from something that has been restrained and to allow or cause (with great force if need be) something very powerful to happen suddenly¹.

This book is an introduction to learning what this release and unleashing is about. Every lineage is designed to fit into God’s order and plan for the completion of His purpose. Our God is love and life, and He gives it in abundance. Destruction and death are the ways of the enemy and we cannot keep submitting to it. The thoughts and ways of the King and His Kingdom is our calling, our thoughts, our speech and our life. His Kingdom and righteousness must always be sought after first and then everything else will come into order².

One of the most important channels through which any lineage freely flows is correctly aligned father and son relationships. In Christ, there is no Jew or Gentile (race), male or female³. Therefore, when I refer to the father-son relationship it refers to a relational principle birthed in the heart of God, which is about discipleship. Every person is called to father others through discipleship, which is a relationship, and thus dynamic. This covenant relationship gives access to the unlimited new wine also known as the great commission as expressed in Matthew 28:19.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"

We are commanded to GO to ALL nations! Many strategies have been attempted to try and achieve this goal of reaching the nations. Many of these have made a difference and we cannot minimise their impact. However, we will not be able to reach all nations without authentic covenant relationships, which spans beyond a strategic plan or season of time.

I quote my spiritual father, Alfie Fabe, who says that ‘The father and son relationship is the only effective tool to reach the whole world for Christ’. God is Father and He sent His Son to reveal and demonstrate the fullness of this relationship. If we do not build our lives and ministries on this relationship, we will miss out on the lasting effect we can make from our generation to the next and the next, until we release and unleash the fourth generation!

This book is for every person who desires to release the righteous lineage that we each possess, and it is especially for those who may feel like they need a fresh beginning after seeing very little righteousness flow through their forefathers.

I pray that as you read this book you will become hungry for more, and as you seek it out, to be patient and ask God to increase your understanding as more revelations flow from His unending well. There are many scriptures used in this book as references that can help you gain a better understanding concerning the fourth-generation release. There is also regular repetition which helps in this process.

I pray that you will allow yourself to be challenged and be transformed in your personal walk, your family and ministry (whole life expression), and become the father that God has called you to be, and thus release and unleash the fourth generation.

    CHAPTER 1

    Understanding the Fourth-Generation Release

Within our loins lies generations and it is our privilege to release them through our sons and daughters. We were first known by God before we were even a thought in the mind and heart of our parents (Jeremiah 1:5), and we continue to be God’s thoughts every day as we come to fullness (Jeremiah 29:11-13). We can be assured that our whole being, life and legacy is known by Him. God knows all the generations that will flow through us.

"Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations."

    (Psalm 145:13, KJV)

We possess everything needed to live this life successfully and completely (See 2 Peter 1:3). Not only do you possess this amazing potential for yourself but also for the seed within you. The power you and I possess to impact this generation and generations yet to be born is far beyond what you can think or imagine. 1 John 3:9 tell us that His seed remains within us and this seed awaits the right conditions to be birthed, so that righteousness can flourish in and through us. Many have kept much of this seed dormant because of ignorance, lack of diligent seeking and simply disobedience. However, when we respond to His call, we will start the process of bringing to life what the righteous seed holds, and the many we are called to impact and impart to, will be released and come to life, even the fourth generation waiting to be released and unleashed.

When the Lord first revealed this to me, I initially found it hard to grasp but asking the questions below was a great help to bring me to understanding. I trust it will do the same for you as you prepare your heart and mind for the release of your fourth generation.

    1. What is the Fourth-Generation release?

2.Why is the release of the fourth generation so important?

    3. How do we release the fourth generation?

    1. What is the Fourth-Generation release?

The release of the fourth generation is found throughout the Bible and here are a few examples in the Old Testament who represented a first generation of God’s visitation and through faith and obedience flourished it through the process of the fourth-generation release:

    • Abraham represented a first generation of God’s visitation and chose to follow and obey God. He had a son Isaac, who had Jacob and then came the great fourth generational release of the twelve tribes (See Genesis 49:28).

    • Moses who also had some amazing encounters with God, chose to follow and obey God. He had a son named Eliezer who had Rehabiah and then came the great release of many sons (See 1 Chronicles 23:14-17).

    • Naomi (through Ruth) who also had a heart for God continued her lineage through Obed, who had Jesse and then the great release of David and his kingdom (See Ruth 4:13-17). Naomi’s right choices played a major part in David becoming a representation of King Jesus and the Kingdom.

Here are a few more examples. In Genesis 50:23 (AMP) it reads as follows:

"Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim’s children; also the children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were born and raised on Joseph’s knees."

    Job 42:16 (AMP) also reads:

"After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations."

God’s glory is over all the Earth and it is the plan of God to establish His glory on the earth through us and the generations that is within us. The genealogy of Jesus given in Matthew and Luke is another indication that our God works through generations. It is vital that we keep the next generation in mind as we plan but it is imperative that we plan beyond the next generation. We have placed a leash on the generations that lie within us because we do not normally have a generational perspective, as we have lost sight of God’s big picture. However, within our potential lies the ability to release and unleash the fourth generation just as Abraham, Moses and Naomi did.

We too, like Joseph and Job, can see in our lifetime the release of the fourth generation.

God often uses all things around us to reveal and demonstrate His plan and blueprint for us, so that we may be without excuse¹.

In a relay race, for example, it is the role of the athlete who starts, to successfully pass on the baton to the next athlete within a certain space and time. The relay race illustrates to us how vital the whole process of handing over is.

From the moment that the first athlete enters his starting blocks, even though his initial aim is for the next athlete, it is even more important that he keep in mind the one who ends the race, the fourth athlete, without whom the race is not complete! When the athlete who starts, does this, he has the bigger picture of the last athlete in mind to finish victoriously! This perspective helps the first athlete to hand the baton over within the right time and to do so effectively.

This illustrates the importance of fathers and mothers handing over to their sons and daughters at the right time and in the right way. It is our aim to hand over the ‘baton’ successfully to the next generation, but we must keep in mind, the release of the fourth generation, our great-grandchildren. This gives us greater perspective and greater effectiveness on how we live our lives and steward what we possess to complete our race.

Through Jesus Christ, the blessing of the fourth-generation release is available to every believer. Jesus did not just appear on the earth but came strategically through the lineages as shared by both Matthew and Luke which reveals some important truths about the generational release.

Jesus Christ became the seal and channel that opened the heavenlies to all who chooses Him as the way. He is the completeness of the release. We have access to all we need to build His Kingdom now generationally.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing
