Spanish Language Lessons - Celestino Rivas
Introduction
If we take into account only native speakers, Spanish has about 400 million speakers followed closely by the 370 million-odd native English speakers. If you want a language that will open up your world to interesting opportunities, Spanish is your option as the primary language of most of South and Central America countries and Spain. This is why it is desirable to have fundamental concepts and principles of the language, so you are able to understand simple Spanish and have basic interaction with any Spanish-speaking person when the opportunity arises.
Throughout this book, you will find these fundamentals presented in a simple, logical and pleasant way, accompanied by images that will make your learning experience more enjoyable and understandable. This makes the book a suitable tool for self-study.
Besides some common Spanish Grammar and vocabulary, the book covers essential words and phrases, everyday expressions, short dialogues and paragraphs, and clear explanations on specific Grammar topics. You will also find a Spanish pronunciation guide at the beginning of the book and tables for Spanish verb conjugations and regular and irregular verbs, a larger range of information than might be expected in a book of this size. It was designed to provide the essential bases. Therefore, no list of words, examples or grammar topics should be regarded as complete
.
The use of colors to distinguish the words in Spanish from the words in English and the varied and original presentation of the vocabulary in contrast with long and tedious lists in black and white will make reading, learning, and understanding easier and pleasant. The perfect combination of illustrative images and easy texts elaborated by native Spanish speakers enhances the value of this book.
The content will be useful from the very beginning, and the knowledge you will acquire and manage will be practical and reliable and will allow you to express yourself more effectively.
We assure you that this book will be an incomparably helpful resource that will inspire you to learn. Nobody will be able to read it without gaining knowledge and feeling happy about that.
Let’s get started, then!
