    The house was two stories, made of brick, and was in a posh neighborhood. Archer was hoping this assignment would result in some pay. The last two assignments he did for almost nothing. He had some money in savings, but it was dwindling fast.

    He parked in the driveway and was dressed in the only suit he owned normally just wore jeans and shirts was shying away from anything that seemed like a uniform after seven years in the Army and three tours in Afghanistan. He rang the door bell and an older man, thin, with grey in his hair answered the door.

    Hi, I’m Archer Phillips.

    Please come in, I’m Adam Wainwright and this is my wife Molly. She was like him tall, thin, wearing a one-piece dress and pearls. This was a woman who worried about what she looked like.

    Are you going to be able to find our daughter? she asked.

    I hope so.

    You come highly recommend by the attorney general, Adam said.

    Archer had found his daughter who was living in a house hooked on crack cocaine and got her into treatment.
