    Friday Night

    Tina opened the door to the car and crawled out onto the grass, bringing her hand to her head as she looked at her new car—her new totally wrecked car.

    Well, how the fuck did I do that?

    Looking around in the dark, she thought she heard something. There. Something was moving towards her. It looked human but all she could make out was a fuzzy outline. It was obviously a man, by the way they carried themselves. At least, she was fairly sure it was a man. It could have been a bear or a cow for all she knew. Her head was still fuzzy and there was this ringing sound in her ears.

    You okay sweetie? the man asked.

    Relief washed over her upon hearing the voice. Rich? Rich! I... I wrecked the car, she said.

    Honey, you okay? He raised his hand to her forehead, inspecting the origin of the blood running down her face.

    Yeah, I'm fine. My head hurts a little and I have this awful ringing in my ears, but nothing to worry about. The car... oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to.
