Thank you for downloading this book. With over 15 years of experience in the corporate world and working on many other voluntary projects, I have come to realize the importance of leadership in a typical man’s life. Leadership is a subject that is thought to be for top executives and individuals holding key positions in an organization. However, the reality is that each one of us is faced with a situation where we are required to lead others effectively. This could be at the time of starting a family, in school, sports, and businesses or even at our jobs.
Leadership is not something that’s bound to a job title; it’s a skill that can help us enhance interactions with others and therefore our lives as well.
The first serious study on leadership can be traced back to 1920s and since then there is countless literature available on the subject. For this book, I tried to consolidate key factors available from years of institutional research that would help the ordinary man become an effective leader. Whether you’re a parent, business owner or have a job, leadership skills give you the ability to connect with people and move them towards a direction. In the process of developing followers who believe and are willing to support the vision of change you see. This is a powerful skill as it means that you have gained the ability to influence groups, communities, societies, etc. in a positive manner to bring a change.
This book provides some essential techniques and strategies to be a more influential individual. From this book you’ll be able to gain a better understanding of the importance of leadership, adopting key characteristics and attitudes, evaluate yourself as a leader and above all become a better and efficient leader.
I’d highly encourage you to take your time to go through this book and make the most out of it.
I have extracted important points and simplified them so that they can be practiced in the everyday life of anyone who is interested in bringing a bigger impact on their families, communities, organization, and lives. Hence, this book is kept short and to the point for an easy read. The aim is to provide useful and practical information that would be implementable rather that presenting pages of research and factual data.

The definition of the word leader means many different things to many different people. There are a few consistencies among the varied definitions however, at its very heart a leader is someone that other people look to for new ideas or trust to see emerging trends as they appear. While a title can make you leader on the surface, becoming a true leader takes a bit more than that. Luckily, the following tips and tricks can make the transition from appointed leader to true leader much more manageable.
When you are leading a team it is important that those who are supposed to follow you don’t sense the underlying fear you feel in your new position. Being afraid of the responsibility is natural, it is how you act on it that matters to those who follow you. To help you find the right mindset to act in a way your team responds to, it is important to remember the following tips.
Be confident
As with many interpersonal skills, it is important to fake being confident in your new position to ensure that you have the time to come by that confidence naturally. Any new leader has a relatively small window to communicate to their team that they are the right person for the job and projecting confidence,
