About this ebook

England has been in decline for many years but amazingly the majority of the decline has happened within the last 70 years. It's been a time when our country for one reason or another has constantly been travelling in the wrong direction. During this time organisations and establishments have continually hindered our progress even to the point where today we no longer rule our own country, to where others always seem to have the final say and that is unacceptable. There have been so many changes forced upon us by these incompetent organisations that have no thought for our country that I am now so concerned I feel that I should share the facts just as I have found them. This and much more has prompted me to write this book.

    The Decline of England 1945-2013 - Michael Thompson

    Conclusion

    Chapter One

    Think!!

    Think!!

    "Sometimes I sit’s and thinks:

    Sometimes I just sit’s"

    Attributed to an English West Country farmer, pre-1906.

    Unless somebody is very unfortunate, everybody has the power to think. Some only have the thinking power required to get them through the day, while some think long and hard about a situation and only finish up making things far worse. There are those who have photographic memories but are unable to think a problem through to a satisfactory end result. Then there are those that have the thinking power to solve major problems.

    Over the last 60 to 70 years, too many of the people who have held important positions in England have not had the ability to think situations though to a satisfactory end result. They have simply been incompetent, or unqualified, therefore fitting into the above category of Sometimes I sit’s and thinks, sometimes I just sit’s. There are also those who feel they are far too busy earning a living to take some time to think things through. They are in fact becoming their own problem and should find that important thinking time. Unfortunately there seem to be very few people who can analyse complex problems and then solve them. Often the people that hold the important positions in business and government seem only able to turn the simple problems into complex ones, but never the other way around. Therefore we move from crisis to crisis.

    "It is surprising with how little wisdom

    England is governed."

    The above is my own adaptation of a quotation by Count Axel Oxenstierna (1583-1654) he wrote:

    "Dost thou not know, my son?

    with how little wisdom the world is governed?"

    That lack of wisdom is highlighted by the following example:

    It is our democratic right to vote and elect a government every five years, and there appears nothing wrong with that. However statistics show that 25 % of those eligible to vote in England do not, among them are many who haven’t even bothered to register to vote. It seems that the most popular reason given for not voting is a complete mistrust in politicians; there seems to be a growing attitude by people that their vote won’t matter and that politicians do not listen to them anyway. Public opinion, which is based on sound logic, suggests that of those who do vote, most vote for the political party that they and their families have always voted for, and many of the remainder, vote for the person who they like the look of. It appears that very few actually read the political party manifestos and think about which party has the best policies to serve our country which of course is their democratic right. However if we took the time to read the manifestos we should also think about the party leaders, for instance does he or she have strong leadership qualities? Does the elected leader have wisdom, competence and strength of character or is he or she just another incompetent who will fail to follow the party manifesto through to a satisfactory end result? We need to invest a little of our time to think about such an important issue.

    Usually we find that after all the media coverage, the poll predictions and all of the speeches have finally died down. Our Prime Minister, whether he or she is newly elected or not, does not have the required qualifications and ability to head our government and run our country. He or she then incompetently selects or re-shuffles a cabinet, often based just on friendship or availability. This usually means that the various people in cabinet positions are as equally unqualified and incompetent as our Prime Minister. This problem could actually be solved by paying our politicians a far better salary this would almost certainly attract more qualified people, with far more wisdom, experience and leadership qualities.

    Most can of course call on supposedly experienced civil servants to give them advice, but it seems that as each year passes, ministers are either advised incorrectly, or have simply ignored their senior civil servants’ advice. Perhaps these days, experienced civil servants are not as experienced as they should be or have been in the job too long. This problem is the fault of successive governments who dictate who the civil servants should be, yet it seems that ministers do not have the required selection abilities.

    The end result is that we usually find ourselves with a government that thinks deeply before making a situation worse. The whole procedure is therefore destined to fail, and we return to the start line. Often, a different government is elected to office and the whole process starts again.

    What England needs is good strong leadership combined with wisdom and stability. Our government must find the people who can analyse and solve complex major problems, and then employ them to do so. They must of course give these people the power and freedom to identify the required action needed whatever that is. Then our wise and strong government should take the advised course of actions as if it was totally their own work. Does it really matter who comes to the correct conclusions? Could it in fact be that this system has been used for many years but without finding the people with the ability to think situation through to the correct end result? We must solve this problem because one thing that never seems to change is that England continually lurches from crisis to crisis.

    Good men are scarce

    Portuguese Proverb:

    We have to accept that not all of the people who have the thinking power to solve our country’s problems have the desire to do so. Many prefer to manipulate a situation so as to meet their own requirements, and not those of others. Their ability to think and plan ahead has resulted in many of them becoming so powerful that some can actually manipulate national and international businesses, as well as local and national governments. These people can do this without even being members of the businesses or the governments. Their ability to manipulate is second nature to them.

    For the purpose of this book they will be called Power Players. They have become some of the most powerful people in the world and they have the ability to act in total secrecy. They do not seek publicity, and are unlikely to leave evidence of their identities and objectives just lying around. Power Players have immense control over people. They are not particularly concerned about anything other than achieving their own hidden objectives, which they seem to manage on a regular basis.

    The following is proof that you can never be sure who the Power Player is. During the Second World War, J.P. Morgan was considered to be the richest man in the world. However, when he died, it was discovered that he wasn’t. In reality he only owned around 19 % of the J. P. Morgan group of companies. The rest of those companies were actually part of the Rothschild Empire.(1) So the Power Player was not Morgan after all, it was Rothschild, or was it; can we really be sure?

    The grassroots of the Rothschild family show that in 1743 a goldsmith by the name of Amshall Bower had a counting house in Germany. Above the door of the shop was a red shield with a Roman eagle on it. Therefore the shop was called the Red Shield Firm, which when translated into German was pronounced Rothschild. When Bower died, his son took over the shop and changed his name to Rothschild. He aimed high, and was soon lending money to governments and kings. The sums of money involved were enormous, but Rothschild was actually lending more money out than he had. (2) He was using a system called, Fractional Reserve Banking, the very same system that the bank of England had been using since they were founded in 1694. More of the history can be found about Goldsmiths and Fractional Reserve Banking, in the money matters chapter of this book.

    During the last 60 to 70 years there have been many occasions where things in England have suddenly changed overnight, and often not for the good of our country or society.

    The changes have been and still are hard to explain, and regardless of how much research is done, a plausible reason for those changes cannot be found. It seems that all too often our governments have not been in control of the direction our country has taken. As these unexplained occasions arise in this book, they will highlighted by suggesting that Power Players may have influenced those particular events.

    Perhaps England needs what used to be called troubleshooters. However, they must be troubleshooters with proven ability. England has gone from crisis to crisis for far too long, don’t you think!

    Chapter Two

    The European Union.

    Introduction

    Good Fences Make Good Neighbours.

    Proverb: mid-17th Century

    Various attempts throughout history have been made to capture the countries of Europe by the use of force, some of those being The Holy Roman Empire, Imperial Rome, Napoleon’s French Empire and Hitler’s Second and Third Reich, as in World Wars One and Two. They all had varying success, but all failed to gain permanent control.

    However, concern must be expressed about the last sixty to seventy years and the modern-day attempt to capture the European countries. The great concern is an organisation calling itself the European Union. It would be useful to know who started it. Why was it started? Should England be a member? What is it costing us? There are hundreds of unanswered questions, why is that?

    Today the European Union has 28 member countries, and its objective is to gain complete and permanent control over them all. Not by force, but by deception hidden within treaties and legislation.

    The European Union did not just happen, it did not just appear, it was created and from the beginning its objectives have all gone in the same direction, these being to slowly take away the powers of the member countries and replace them with its own.

    England must keep its independence and sovereignty. We and we alone must control our own destiny.

    Researching the European Union to try to uncover data about England alone was almost impossible. People from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland will have found the same problem. This is because we have been joined to the European Union as a union, the union of the United Kingdom otherwise known as the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

    The European Union only refers to us as Britain or the United Kingdom. According to them we are no longer individual countries and their egos will not allow them to use the wording Kingdom or Great. We are a European Union state and just part of their collective.

    Of course by addressing us as only Britain the European Union has failed to include Northern Ireland. How uneducated our European neighbours are!

    The Government of Ireland Act was passed in 1920, followed in 1921 by the Anglo - Irish Treaty. In 1937 Ireland ratified a new constitution and in 1948 declared itself a Republic. Great Britain responded with the Ireland Act in 1949, which claimed exclusive British jurisdiction over the administration of Northern Ireland. Both the Republic of Ireland and the UK joined the European Economic Community in 1973. (3) Today a British passport reads United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Above that in smaller print it reads European Union. So perhaps this all-controlling organisation should know something about us. Perhaps they should also learn to use the words Great Britain and not just Britain; we should all be insulted that they won’t allow themselves to use the word Great. It was after all the Romans that gave us that name; strangely the Romans called Brittany what was the North West of France, Lesser Britain and called England, Wales and Scotland, Great Britain. (4) More recently when Northern Ireland became legally bound to this group we become the UK or The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Without Northern Ireland we are simply Great Britain.

    However, one of the prime objectives of the European Union is to remove the individualities and identities from the member countries. Research shows that the European Union does not mention countries as they refer to them as being states. Great exception can be taken at this as it can only be looked upon as a downgrade. The Concise Oxford Dictionary describes a ‘state’ as being a politically-organised community under one government. It describes a ‘country’ as being a nation, a land of birth. Using European Union terminology, the European Union’s eventual aim is to have a European Community that is politically organised as one State and that one State is to be solely controlled by the European Union’s own superior state government, which like it or not will in turn be controlled by Germany.

    Unlike the United States of America, a European Union State can be looked upon as being a country that, against the wishes of the majority of its people, is in the process of being shaped and moulded by foreigners, so that it will fit into the European Union’s overpowering, all-controlling regime. When looking at the European Union’s official documentation and the terminology it uses, it has been found that it is impossible to separate information about England from that of the rest of the UK.

    However the burden of membership into this European Union for the four UK countries is not equal. There can be no argument that when using the 2001 census figures; the population of England was five times greater than the combined populations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and that gap has been increasing yearly ever since. Therefore it seems reasonable to assume that the costs involved for the UK to be a European Union Member State has been and is resting mainly on the shoulders of England and as this book is about the decline of England. The information and facts found within the European Union concerning the UK will be separated if possible so that it relates only to England. However, if that task proves impossible at any stage, this book will refer the information as relating to Britain, the UK or England and the rest of the UK. Surely a Scottish person would relate to these matters as affecting Scotland and so on.

    Research shows whose idea it was to form this European Union. How the European Union has slowly revealed its true objectives over the last 60 to 70 years, and the price that England has paid and is continuing to pay just to be a part of it? This is all information that our successive governments should have been presenting to us, on a regular basis. We are, after all their employers.

    To trace how the European Union has progressed over the years should be easy. Logically, all we need to do is study the European Union Treaties from their early days through to present times. The treaties supposedly set out their intentions and create the required institutions, so as to achieve the Union’s aims. However because of the use of legal jargon, guile and hidden deceit, things are not always as they seem.

    Grassroots

    "Maybe this world is another planet’s Hell.

    Aldous Huxley (1894-1963)

    Over time many people have spoken of the European Union Secret. It is a secret that has been kept from everybody with the exception of the very top officials. However, thanks to Dr. Rath, the founder of the Dr. Rath Research Institute, and his team, that secret is now out. Having been given permission to do so, I will refer to Dr. Rath’s findings on various occasions during this chapter.

    When researching the grassroots of the European Union, doubt began to creep in about many of the findings. After all, many writers over time have written their own version of historical events to suit their own bias. Were these findings biased accounts of history, or just a number of crackpot conspiracy theories?

    As time has gone by many official documents have been uncovered as evidence that confirm that this chapter is the true account of the grassroots of the European Union.

    In 1914, four German Marks were equal to one American dollar. By 1919 Germany had lost World War One, and financially, socially and politically, was in total disarray. At that time, 32.85 German Marks equalled one American dollar (5) and things got far worse before they began to get better.

    1921 saw Adolf Hitler become the leader of the National Socialist German Workingman’s Party which was abbreviated and called the Nazi Party, and as Hitler’s popularity grew, so did the membership of his party, which between 1925 and 1929, rose from 27,000 to 178.000. (6)

    In 1925 a German group of multi-national companies formed a cartel, calling itself I.G. Farben Industries. The main companies involved were Bayer, the Aspirin manufacturer, BASF, AGFA, and Hoechst which today is known as Aventis, other smaller companies were also involved. The objective of this cartel was to gain control of the European and then the global markets in the industrial sectors of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals. (7) It is thought that the plans for World War Two began with the formation of this cartel.

    The Great Depression began in 1929 and the hard times it created resulted in many of the German people changing their political allegiance to the Communist Party. (8) Obviously Hitler and the industrialists from the I.G. Farben cartel were more than a little concerned about this development.

    By 1933 The I.G. Farben cartel were financing the Nazi party’s rise to power, and over the next few years, became involved in preparing the Nazis for the military conquest of Europe. (9) The Nazi / I.G. Farben coalition had arrived. The IG Farben group were now on their way to becoming the largest chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical corporation in the world.

    In the book The Nazi Roots of the Brussels EU the Dr. Rath Health Foundation states:

    It was not Hitler who started World War Two but the elite of an industrial cartel of chemical, oil and drugs, with the purpose of controlling global markets. (10)

    Also in 1933 the Nazi Party stopped all Communist and Socialist newspapers from being published, however they still only received 43.9 % of the electorate’s votes which related to 288 seats. Therefore the Nazis had failed to gain an overall majority. The Communist party had still managed to gain 81 seats. (11) So Hitler had 81 Communist candidates arrested or excluded. He then persuaded the Centre Party and the Nationalist Party, who held 126 seats collectively, to support him.

    Taking this action meant that by March of that year the Nazis held or controlled 444 seats, while at the same time the Social Democrats lost ground, going down from 120 seats to just 94. This gave Hitler all the power he needed, and from that point on, he could pass laws without having to go though the Reichstag. He had basically destroyed the German Constitution. (12) He then destroyed the Trade Union offices, which were the base for the communist support. By the middle of July he declared all political parties with the exception of the Nazi Party as illegal. (13)

    On January 30th 1933 Adolf Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany and held the position throughout World War Two. In 1934 Hitler decided to deal with the opposition he was receiving from within his own party. He also decided to disband the storm troopers (the S.A.). It is estimated that around 200 politicians and troopers were killed. Many others finished up in concentration camps but the exact number is not known. (14) Hitler’s Army officers swore allegiance to him and only him, meaning that he was now in complete control. The Third Reich was then officially proclaimed. (15)

    By 1937 Hitler’s objective was to replace the "the clutter of small nations" within Europe by eliminating their national borders and creating regions. He wanted to put an end to national identities and create a united Europe, which was of course to be ruled by him and from Berlin. His ultimate aims were for European and then world domination.

    The German slogan was One people, One Empire, One Leader.

    It is widely believed that the I.G. Farben group could not have become as powerful without accepting an enormous investment from American John D. Rockefeller who owned among many other things the Standard Oil Company. Together they set up a company calling it Standard I.G. Farben.

    In 1938 the Power Player John D Rockefeller arranged for 500 tons of tetraethyl lead to be delivered to I.G. Farben. It was a product that would improve vehicle performance and fuel economy. It is said that Rockefeller knew that this product was to be used for war purposes, but being a powerful man, he did as he pleased. In 1939 Rockefeller supplied IG Farben with yet more tetraethyl lead. This time, it was 20 million dollars’ worth. World War Two was almost upon us. Rockefeller was later charged with the war crime of Trading with the Enemy but got away with just a $5,000 fine. (16)

    During the war Rockefeller discovered that on a number of occasions the allies were given orders to bomb the Auschwitz complex, where some members of the I.G. Farben cartel had become involved. Rockefeller used his power and influence on John McCloy, the American Assistant Secretary of War, who was a former legal councillor to I.G. Farben, and got the bombing raids cancelled. (17)

    The Dr. Rath Health Foundation highlights on their website, EU-Facts.org a letter which became a document for the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal; it was evidence that was used against I.G. Farben. The letter was from I.G. Farben director Knieriem to the Nazi government and was dated July 20th 1940, which was just after Germany had defeated France.

    The letter was in reply to the Nazi government’s request to IG Farben for their detailed plans for a new economic order in Europe under the Nazi / IG Farben coalition. The letter outlines the plans for IG Farben to control the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries throughout Europe. It also mentions a common European currency, common European law, and even a European court system, all of which would be under the control of the Nazi / IG Farben coalition, all of which are now part of today’s European Union. (18)

    On July 22nd 1940 Walther Funk, the Nazi Minister of Economic Affairs had obviously already been thinking deeply about the future and explained to other ministers, that after the war Germany would organise a free exchange of goods within Europe. He said that together with a customs union, there would be a rational division of labour, an integrated structure for credit and balance of payment, agriculture would be coordinated between European countries and so would wages, prices and taxes. Funk had a working group already set up to finalise detailed plans for a European Economic Union and had already produced a book entitled The Economic Future of Europe and in it he suggests, the creation of a European Economic Area. He also made a speech to that effect just 3 days later (July 25th 1940), entitled The economic re-organisation of Europe. It was regarded as a semi-official blueprint for all the occupied countries. Of course none of his working group was expecting a German defeat. During his speech he mentioned that "the price level will have to be adjusted to that of Germany. But a currency union will bring about a gradual levelling of living standards which in the future will not and should not be the same for all the countries linked with the European clearing system. Funk ended his speech by saying,

    "The coming peace-time economy must guarantee for Greater Germany a maximum of economic security and for the German Nation a maximum consumption of goods to raise the level of the nation’s well-being. The European economy must be adapted to achieve this aim. Development will proceed by stages and differently in different countries; it is still beset with numerous uncertainties, for- we must never forget - we are still at war! However, it is plain to see Walther Funk’s plans have managed to find their way, step by step into today’s European Union. (19)

    In September 1940 Joseph Goebbels, the Reich Minister for Propaganda gave a speech entitled The Coming Europe. The speech was addressed to a Czechoslovakian audience of artists and journalists in Berlin, and told them to inform their countryman and women that they had better get used to German rule.

    During the speech Goebbels said,

    I am convinced that in 50 years we will no longer think in terms of nations, but of continents, and that entirely different, and perhaps much larger problems will concern Europe... Do not think that, as we bring about a certain order in Europe, we do it to harm individual nations. The freedom of individual countries must be brought in harmony with the conditions of the present and with simple questions of practicality. Just as a member of a family does not have the right to disturb everyone else’s peace, an individual nation does not have the right to resist the larger order. (20)

    The full translation of this speech and much more can be found on Randall Bytwerk website http://www.calvin.edu/academic/cas/gpa/faq.htm. Randall Bytwerk is Professor of Communication, Art and Sciences at Calvin College, and has also written a number of books including Paper War.

    In 1941 it was discovered that John D Rockefeller’s United States based Standard Oil Company and I.G. Farben had formed a cartel. See reference (16)

    In the same year I.G. Farben built the largest industrial complex in Europe at Auschwitz, which is where they manufactured the chemicals and explosives for World War Two. It covered 24 square kilometres including the concentration camp which was drastically increased in size, giving the cartel an enormous supply of slave labour. This concentration camp became the largest extermination camp in human history.

    The whole operation was financed with almost one billion Reich marks from the Deutsche Bank. (21)

    As a member of the I.G. Farben cartel, Bayer’s pharmaceutical division was using thousands of prisoners from Auschwitz in deadly chemical experiments. They later became known as the Devil‘s Chemists. (22) Bayer is still in business today. They are now a worldwide group trading in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the United State, Canada, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. (23)

    In 1942 John D Rockefeller supplied the Nazis with oil, even re-fuelling German submarines around the English Channel Islands. He was charged again under the Trading with the Enemy Act. However he threatened to stop supplying the U.S. with crucial supplies of wartime oil. This resulted in President Roosevelt, at the request from the American War Department, giving the order to stop all proceedings against Rockefeller. (24)

    I have not been able to verify this with an American War Department order number. However, another source which backs up the above information comes from a book entitled The Secret War against the Jews by Mark Aarons and John Loftus. This is their version of those events.

    "Before the war Standard Oil of New Jersey formed a synthetic oil and rubber cartel with the I.G. Farben industries that had already formed a cartel with the Nazis. Next to the Rockefeller’s, I.G. Farben were the largest shareholders in the Standard Oil company. Evidence that Thurman Arnold gave to the Truman Committee was treasonous and included a 1939 letter from Standard Oil renewing its agreement with I.G. Farben and making it clear that the Rockefeller company was prepared to work with the Nazis whether the American government was at war with the Third Reich (Germany) or not. Being in possession of this evidence the Truman Senate Committee began to investigate the arrangement much to the discomfort of John D Rockefeller Junior. Suddenly, and without any prior warning the whole matter was dropped. The reason for this was down to plain old fashion blackmail. According to the former intelligence officers interviewed, the blackmail was simple and powerful: The Dulles brothers, John Foster, later Secretary of State, and Allen, later director of the CIA had one of their clients threaten to interrupt the US oil supply during wartime.

    When confronted by Arnold on the Standard Oil - Farben arrangement, Standard Oil executives made it clear that the entire U.S. war effort was fuelled by their oil and it could be stopped….. Therefore the American government had no choice, if it wanted to help win the war." (25)

    In the same year (1942) Walther Funk, together with Heinrich Hunke, a Nazi academic and Gustav Koenigs, a Nazi official, published a document called, The European Economic Community. Some 15 years later, the European Economic Community (EEC) came into existence as part of the Rome Treaty. The EEC later became known as the European Union and the European Economic Area became part of that. In a book written by Rodney Atkinson entitled Europe’s Full Circle there are six parallels between Hitler’s Nazi Europe and today’s Europe. 1. Europaische Wirtshaftsgemeinschaft is the equivalent to The European Economic Community. 2. European Currency System is the equivalent to the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. 3. Europabank (Berlin) is the European Central Bank (Frankfurt) 4. The European Regional Principle is the equivalent to the Committee of the Regions. 5. Common Labour Policy is the equivalent to the Social Chapter. 6. Economic and Trading Agreements are the equivalent of the Single Market. Finally from Atkinson’s book is the following quote:

    The Anglo-Saxon economic system, the classic national economy, is dead…It is important to establish a European Single Currency core in order to stand firm against Anglo-Saxon values. (26)

    Also in 1942 the University of Berlin organised a conference entitled the European Economic Community. Among the lecturers was Walther Funk. There were nine lectures given during the conference entitled:

    The Economic Face of the New Europe, by Walther Funk;

    Developments towards the European Economic Community, by Dr. Horst Jecht;

    European Agriculture, by Professor Emil Woermann;

    The European Industrial Economy, by Dr. Anton Reithinger;

    The Development of Labour in Europe, by Dr. Philipp Beisiegel;

    Questions about European Transport, by Gustav Koenigs;

    Questions about Europe’s Currency, by Dr. Bernhard Benning;

    European Trade and Economic Treaties, by Dr. Carl Clodius;

    The Basic Question: Europe – Geographical Concept or Political Fact? by Professor Dr. Heinrich Hunke;

    Useful on-line information regarding this conference can be found on-line at http://www.scribd.com/doc’14667254/Pamphlet-07. Many of the issues discussed by these lecturers can be found in today’s European Union. (27)

    In May 1943 the Nazi underground movement was formed and Nazis began to move undercover into countries such as Switzerland, Spain, Argentina and even the UK and the United States. In fact, the movement became worldwide. (28)

    On 10th August 1944 the Germans, with defeat looking inevitable, organised a conference which was held in secret in the Rotes Haus Hotel in Strasbourg France, and attended by an informant, an agent of French Deuxieme Bureau recommended by Commandant Zindel. This agent had worked for the French on German problems since 1916 and was in close contact with the Germans, particularly industrialists during the occupation of France. Also in attendance at this conference were officials of the Nazi Government, leading German industrialists and selected armaments, and naval officials, together with some of the Nazis top economists.

    A secret report of the Conference, referenced as U.S. Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128 also known as The Red House Report, was written by the above-mentioned French spy who was obviously at the meeting. His report was sent by air pouch to Cordell Hull to the US Secretary of State and copied to British officials. It detailed how the industrialists were to work with the Nazi Party to rebuild Germany’s economy by sending money out through Switzerland, in particular through two banks in Zurich or via agencies in Switzerland which bought property for German concerns, for a five percent commission. The Nazis would set up a network of secret front companies abroad. They would wait until conditions were right, and then they would take over Germany again.

    Swiss banks, in particular the Swiss National Bank, accepted gold looted from the treasuries of Nazi-occupied countries. They accepted assets and property titles taken from Jewish businessmen in Germany and occupied countries and supplied the foreign currency that the Nazis needed to buy vital war materials.

    Swiss economic collaboration with the Nazis had been closely monitored by Allied intelligence.

    The conference was presided over by Dr. Scheid who held the rank of S.S. Obergruppenfuhrer and Director of the Heche (Hermandorff & Schonburg) Company, Scheid was obviously given the authority to speak as he did or he would most certainly have been shot. He stated that all industrial materials in France were to be evacuated to Germany immediately. The battle of France was lost for Germany and now the defence of the Siegried Line was the main problem. From now on German industry must also realise that the war cannot be won and that it must take steps in preparation for a post-war recovery and a commercial campaign, prepare for a Nazi return to power and work for a Strong German empire. In other words, The Fourth Reich.

    The industrialists included representatives of Volkswagen, Krupp and Messerschmit, with officials from the Navy and Ministers of Armaments all of who were at the meeting, and with incredible foresight as they decided together that the Fourth German Reich, unlike its predecessors, would be an economic rather than a military empire, but not just German.

    Dr. Scheid ordered that each industrialist must make contacts and alliances with foreign firms, but this must be done individually and without attracting any suspicion.

    He also told this group to borrow substantial sums from foreign countries after the war.

    He gave examples of the kind of penetration which had been most useful in the past, he cited the fact that patents for stainless steel belonged to the Chemical Foundation, Inc., New York and the Krupp company of Germany jointly and that the U.S. Steel Corporation, Carnegie Illinois, American Steel and Wire, and National Tube, etc. were thereby under an obligation to work with the Krupp concern. He also cited the Zeiss Company, the Leica Company and the Hamburg- American Line as firms which had been especially effective in protecting German interests abroad and gave their New York addresses to the industrialists.

    The conference also agreed to hide away enormous amounts of capital, which would be used to gain control of Europe. The Nazi Party had amassed a vast fortune, which of course included, what is often described as the rich pickings of war. Soon after the conference had ended vast amounts of capital began to be moved out of Germany. German businesses and industries began to be established in countries some of which did not particularly care where the investment was coming from.

    At the conference, many of the bigger German industries were told that they would be allocated large sums of money but that they must be prepared to finance the Nazi Party on its return. At the end of the war, the plan was for Germany to borrow as much money as possible from whoever offered it.

    Following the end of this secret conference and as most of the industrialists left, a handful were beckoned into another, smaller gathering presided over by Dr. Bosse of the German Armaments Ministry. There were secrets to be shared with the elite of the elite. Bosse explained how, even though the Nazi Party had informed the industrialists that the war was lost, resistance against the Allies would continue until a guarantee of German unity could be obtained. He then laid out the secret three-stage strategy for the Fourth Reich.

    In stage one, the industrialists were to prepare themselves to finance the Nazi Party, which would be forced to go underground as a Maquis, using the term of the French resistance.

    Stage two would see the government allocating large sums to German industrialists to establish a secure post-war foundation in foreign countries while existing financial reserves must be placed at the disposal of the party so that a strong German empire could be created after the defeat.

    In stage three, German businesses would set up a sleeper network of agents abroad through front companies, which were to be covers for military research and intelligence, until the Nazis’ return to power. Bosse announced that The existence of the sleeper network is to be known only by very few people in each industry and by chiefs of the Nazi Party. Each office will have a liaison agent with the Party. As soon as the party becomes strong enough to re-establish its control over Germany, the industrialists will be paid for their effort and co-operation by concessions and orders.

    German industrialists were told that they must increase the strength of Germany through their exports. However exports of capital by German industrialists to neutral countries had to be accomplished under cover and by means of special influence!

    After the defeat of Germany the Nazi Party / I.G. Farben cartel recognised that certain of its best known leaders will be condemned as war criminals. However, in cooperation with the industrialists it was arranging to place its less conspicuous but most important members in positions with various German factories as technical experts or members of its research and designing offices. (29)

    Following that theme some of the Nazi Party / IG Farben top industrialists, lawyers, bankers, economists and civil servants began to obtain work in the restructuring of Germany. Some, after being released early from prison even got their old jobs back at the top of I.G. Farben companies.

    Many prospered in the new West Germany, where they worked for the new cause, European economic and political integration, those being the very issues that the Fourth Reich planned to use to conquer Europe. The very issues where cunning, guile, and deceit are very important job qualification when successfully concealing hidden objectives, within European Trade and Economic Treaties. (30)

    1945-1946 the US Congress and the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal were in possession of the official documents that showed that World War Two had been planned logistically, technically and financially by the German cartel, known as I.G. Farben, and that they financed the Nazis. In return I.G. Farben was given the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries of countries as they became occupied. (31)

    Walther Funk was found guilty of crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg Trails and was sentence to life in prison. However, suffering from bad health and together with other senior Nazis he was released on the 16th May 1957. Funk died on the 31st May 1960. The question is, was it a coincidence that Funk and the others were released just weeks after the signing of the Rome Treaty? His release did make him available to give advice and direction on the European Economic Community plans if needed. (32)

    The Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal tried 24 managers of I.G. Farben industries, for crimes against humanity. Ten were acquitted, while the others received sentences ranging from 18 months to eight years, with time served taken into account. (33)

    US Prosecutor Telford Taylor stated at the Nuremberg Tribunal that:

    Without I.G. Farben the Second World War would not have been possible. (34)

    After the war many of the managers and executives of the Nazi / I.G. Farben coalition were reintegrated into top positions in their old companies, or in other German chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical companies. One example of this was Dr. Fritz ter Meer a director of I.G. Farben who was directly involved in developing the nerve gas, Zyklon-B, which killed millions of Jews. For this horrendous crime he was sentenced to just seven years but because of time served he only spent 5 years in prison. Fritz ter Meer was guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity. Yet, somehow he was able to return to work at Bayer where he served as chairman for more than 10 years, until 1961. He died 1967. Other similar war criminals managed to obtain like positions in other companies and even obtained German government positions. Many who were registered members of the Nazi party became members of the Christian Democratic Party. (35)

    The West German government was one of the first and main financiers of what is now the European Union. Therefore it may not come as a surprise to find that when the foremost architects of the EU met at its headquarters in 1964 there were just five men, all of them German. At that time four of them held high positions in the German government. What was more surprising was that four of them were proven members of the Nazi / I.G. Farben coalition during World War Two.

    This 1964 meeting took place 19 years after the war had ended. It is alarming that the Nazis still held influential positions in the German government.

    The men who attended the 1964 meeting were: Ludwig Erhard, Ludger Westrick, Karl Carstens, Karl-Gunther von Hase and Walter Hallstein. Hallstein did not hold a position within the German government while Hase, it seems was never involved with the Nazi/IG Farben coalition.

    To highlight these five men:

    Ludwig Erhard

    Was the German Chancellor at the time of the meeting. He had been an economic consultant to the Nazi / I.G. Farben coalition during World War Two. He was both the founder and the head of the Nazi-financed Institute for Industrial Research and in 1944 wrote War Finances and Debt Consolidation, which was a study of the reconstruction of the economy in a post-war Germany. After the war Erhard politically stood as an Independent, however he eventually affiliated to the Christian Democratic Party. As part of his duties, he was given the task of reintegrating the I.G. Farben managers and executives upon their release, having served their mediocre prison sentences from the Nuremberg trials. This reintegration involved placing them into influential top corporate positions.

    One of those mentioned was Bayer’s World War Two director Fritz Ter Meer, who had been found guilty of genocide and other crimes against humanity which inexplicably only resulted in a 7 year sentence, that finished up as five after time served was taken into account. When he was released from prison Erhard reintegrated Ter-Meer to the position of the chairman of the board at Bayer.

    Erhard defended his actions on the basis that when selecting Germany’s industrial captains:

    Their expertise in the field of economics and chemical technology was paramount.

    Erhard was rewarded by being appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Germany in 1957. In 1963 he became the Chancellor of West Germany. Fritz Ter Meer died in 1967. Erhard died in 1977.

    Ludger Westrick

    During the Nazi era he was the chairman of the board, president and later the Central Trustee of the state-owned Vereinigte Industrie-Unternehmen AG (VIAG), which was a group of energy companies that were either owned directly or indirectly by the Reich. They were given the task of dealing with the increasing demand for products such as aluminium, nitrogen, and electricity.

    1938 saw the annexation of Austria to the German Reich which resulted in a large increase in VIAG’s range of activity. To cover these increases, all of their plants were modernised or increased in size. A new aluminium oxide plant was built, and nitrogen production was greatly increased. In 1943 the Reich needed more investment, so the VIAG Group made investments to the value of 220 million Reich Marks this was not too surprising as the Reich owned them. Perhaps investments is the wrong word to use.

    After the war Westrick became a member of the Christian Democratic Party (CDU).

    In 1964, at the same time as the meeting, he became the head of the German Chancellery, making him very powerful within the German political system. It was a position whereby he could control or influence all of the major decisions of the German government. These included economics, foreign policy, the European Union project, the secret service, political funds, public relations and propaganda. Westrick died in 1977.

    In 2000 VIAG merged with VEBA, a financial holding company to form E-ON.

    Karl Carstens

    Was the German Secretary of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the time of the 1964 meeting. He was a devoted follower of the Nazis and in 1934 joined the SA this was just before it was disbanded. In 1940 he became a registered member of the Nazi party, and remained so until 1945. Carstens joined the German Foreign Service in 1954, and in the following year became the official standing representative of the German Federal Republic at the European Council. In the same year he became a member of the German Christian Democratic Union and remained so for the rest of his life. By 1958 Carstens had become the Head of the Division Europe West within the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and just two years later the Secretary of State at the Foreign Office. In 1976 he became the President of the Bundestag, a position that he held until 1979, when he became the fifth President of the Federal Republic of Germany, although there had been some disruptions due to his Nazi past. He held the presidency until 1984 and died in 1992.

    Karl-Gunther von Hase

    Von Hase joined the German army in 1936. In 1939 he was involved in the invasion of Poland. The following year he was involved in the battle of France, and between 1941 and 1945 he was involved in the invasion of Russia, where he spent most of the time as a prisoner of war. After the war he married the daughter of a Nazi general. He then began a successful career in German politics, and joined the Christian Democratic Party. In 1962 he became the Secretary of State, government spokesman, and Head of the Press and Information Office of the federal government, positions that he held until 1967 which of course covered the 1964 meeting. In 1968 and 1969 he was the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and from 1977 to 1982 he was the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the UK. However unlike the other four at the meeting, it appears that he was not connected to the Nazi / I.G. Farben cartel. It does seem that he just served and survived his time in the military, after which he became a successful politician.

    Walter Hallstein

    Was the President of the European Commission at the time of the 1964 meeting. In World War Two, he was a Nazi lawyer and served them enthusiastically, working closely with the Nazi / I.G. Farben cartel’s elite.

    In 1938 he represented the Nazi government in discussions with Italy, concerning the legality of its dictatorship. During the discussions Hallstein said:

    "The legal order of the dictatorial state (Fuhrerstaat or the Greater Germany) has the task to protect integrity, the health and the racial health of its people.... The supreme race has to be particularly protected from the Jewish race by eliminating it from society for all time".

    Basically this law was designed to stop Germans from fornicating with or marrying people from other races, especially the Jews. It was the German objective to keep the German bloodline clean.

    Just months before the Nazi / I.G. Farben coalition attacked Poland (1939), Walter Hallstein gave a speech in which he spoke about the future Europe, under German leadership. He said that:

    "One of the most important laws, in Nazi occupied European countries is the protection law for German blood and honour".

    A few years after the war (1950) Hallstein became head of the Office of Foreign Affairs at the Federal Chancellery with the rank of State Secretary, making him the top-ranking civil servant. In 1957 this same blood and honour lawyer became known as the main architect of the European Union’s Commission which he created following the plans of the Nazi / I.G. Farben cartel, together it seems with Funk’s EEC plans, this became their politburo, and from the very beginning it was totally without democracy and remains so to this very day. Hallstein became the European Union Commission’s first President, and can be considered its founding father. He went on to become one of the 12 founding fathers of the Treaty of Rome, which brought in the European Economic Community and subsequently the European Union. Chancellor Adenauer and Walter Hallstein signed the first European Treaty in Rome.

    Although Hallstein became the first president of the European Commission, it is highly likely that the successors to the I.G. Farben cartel heavily influenced the vote taken by the six founding member countries so that Hallstein was elected its President. It was a position that he held from 1958 to 1967. On taking up the position Hallstein stated that

    The European Commission has full and unlimited powers for all decisions related to the architecture of this European community.

    By the time the previously-mentioned 1964 meeting took place, Hallstein had already been the chief architect in the European Union’s basic structure for seven years. His European Commission had approximately 3,000 administrators and it is said that he ruled them like a tsar.

    The construction of the European Commission is best described in Hallstein’s own book, written in 1969 and entitled Europe in the Making, where he states that

    The Commission is entrusted with what virtually amounts to a monopoly in taking the initiative in all matters affecting the Community. There are a few exceptions to this general rule, but these ought to be removed at the earliest opportunity. (36)

    Hallstein must have also studied the structure of the (USSR) the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republic; it is plain to see that the European Union bears far more likenesses to the USSR for coincidence to be considered. For instance, the European Union has thousands of bureaucrats who are only answerable to their superior officers, and this compares strongly to the now-defunct Soviet Union. The European Union’s Commission is not accountable for its actions, nor was the Soviet Union’s Politburo. The comparison is such that the only real difference is their names and their number of members. The Soviet Union called all their citizens Soviet citizens, in an attempt to remove their individual national identities. The European Union is attempting to do the same by calling all their citizens European Union citizens. However they are also going further by attempting to eliminate the clutter of small countries and create regions. In
