H ave you heard of him ? Sasha asked, sidling up to me at the counter. I was taking out the foam cups and getting it ready for the next batches of coffee. Fortis was a small town and we had a small set of loyal customers so I knew exactly what they would want on their way to work. I set down the foam cups, ready to make their to-go caffeine shots.

    Who? I asked distractedly.

The new guy! Sasha exclaimed. Don’t tell me you live under a rock Sloane.

Yes? I said as I turned around. I felt my mouth go dry at his sight.

On the other side of the counter, stood the most beautiful man I’d seen. He had dark hair and stunning blue eyes. His skin was dark and tanned and even though he wasn’t built
